The galbi jjim here is amazing! It's pretty pricey, but I don't mind because the food here is really good and I don't come too often. There're a ton of different things you can try. I like the modern atmosphere and I love how cute the menus are. They're like little gates that open up and welcome you in. Be careful if you don't like spicy food, though. The spice tolerance required for mild is already pretty high.

Came here for the first time, had the Galbi Tang and Ox Bone Soup. Everything tasted so clean and fresh. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We had a great experience and will definitely come back when in the area!

It's great how you can find things not readily available at a lot of other restaurants. Bossam was good, just make sure to ask for the shrimp sauce.

Went here for brunch. Street parking only. The staff were really nice and attentive. The food was good. Got an appetizer and the Spicy Gal Bi Jjim with extra meat. The portion was big, we shared with 4 people and were full. It was a great place!

Food, service and atmosphere was amazing! But automatic 22% tip added in was extortion.

This place specializes in bone broth Korean soup/screw. The dinner portions are large and you won't go away. Appetizers are minimal but very tasty. Good for the family or for date night.

Super nice service and ambiance! The staff are really nice and attentive about bringing side dishes without us even asking. Combo sulleongtang: 4/5 Really rich and hearty soup with good portion of tender meat and noodles. Perfect for the rainy day we came in on. Totally would get again

Came with a group of 6 on a Sunday around 7pm, and there wasn't much of a wait. There's available street parking in the area. They have cute menus made to model traditional korean doors. We split everything family style. . Banchan: (3/5) They give kimchi, fish cakes, and kkakdugi. The kimchi was sour and pretty whatever. The fish cakes were decent, taste like the store-bought ones. The radish kimchi was the best of the bunch, being crunchy and refreshing. . Galbijjim: (4/5) They give a good amount of meat and noodles, though I wish they had more rice cakes/radishes and sauce in the mix. . Yuk-Hwe: (5/5) I personally love raw meats, so their raw beef and pears dish was a must. It has a good blend of everything: sweetness from the pears, savoriness from the raw meat, creaminess from the egg yolk, and nuttiness from the sesame oil. . Sullong tang and Galbitang: (4/5) Both are pretty clean soups, though I don't recommend sharing them as they're meant for single-serving. I don't think it's a lot by itself either. They sell giftcards - $100 giftcard for $110 value, and $200 gift card for $230 value. However, you can't use the giftcard on the same day of purchase - so if you do plan on eating here in the future, that might be something you should look into. It is on the pricier side for korean food; I think it's on par if not a little better than Daeho in SF though in terms of quality.

Recently went for dinner. We beat the crowd at around 545pm on a Wednesday evening. I've never had bossam and that's what i wanted to try. It was delicious. We had enough for a party of 4, also ordered some dumplings, meat jeon and a galbi soup. Complimentary tea is also provided. Everything was very tasty and svc was good.

Came here for lunch with 5 other friends who recommended the place. We ordered the Gal Bi Jjim Combo and if you like cheese, be sure to add the cheese topping. We felt it was the best part of the dish. They didn't skimp on the portion and I felt that there was plenty of cheese to go around. The meat was fall off the bone tender and has good flavor. Our second dish was fatty pork or pork belly with some lettuce so you can do a wrap. That dish was good but I felt it needed more flavor or better dipping sauces. Nevertheless, I felt like we barely scratched the surface of the menu and look forward to coming back and trying other items.

I've been to the first LA location in the past and I'm glad there's one a little closer to home now! I got the medium galbi-jjim with cheese and galbi-tang to share between three people. The medium galbi-jjim easily could have fed 2-3 more people and I enjoyed the flavor and mild spicy flavor we ordered. Galbi-tang on a rare cold SoCal night always hits the spot and it was seasoned perfectly! I would probably only order some soup again if I didn't have at least 5 people to share next time but this spot is a regular for me. I prefer more fresh kimchi and they definitely had it the night I went. I look forward to being a regular anytime I'm in the area!

First time having beef tartare, it was so good! I also ordered their new dish-- ham sang roll, also really delicious!

Han Sang is a Korean restaurant with high quality items. The place itself has a casual ambiance, but many aspects feel high end. From the fancy menu that's designed after gates, to the cleanliness, to the dishes. Each dish is done so well - in flavor and presentation. The Gal Bi Jjim was so flavorful, it was my favorite of the 2 dishes that we ordered. The other was the Combo Suyuk. That had a clean taste - it came unseasoned. We had salt and pepper on the side, and were told to season to our preference. A couple people in the group really enjoyed this dish. I came in a party of 4, and we ordered 2 dishes to share. The portion sizes were fair, and we were full by the end of it. The pricing is considerably high. For the quality, the price is quite fair. The service was great too!

hands down they have the best kimchi ever! i was in the area today and decided to walk in and see if they sold kimchi by itself. the ladies were super friendly and said i could purchase either a small tub for 5$ or a large tub for 9$. since i've been craving their kimchi for a while i decided to splurge for the large and it's worth every cent. loved their galbitang the last time i was there as well. would definitely be going back there whenever im craving for some good old korean food.

Han Sang is one of those restaurants where I'm not sure if I like it or not because it's different from when I came during their grand opening in some ways. This spot is definitely expensive for a Millbrae restaurant. The service feels kind of hit or miss because when I came for the grand opening a while back the service was amazing, but recently it hasn't been great. My table ordered the Gal Bi Jjim Combo ($80) which is always enough to feed a whole family. The banchan that you get is a little underwhelming compared to what you get at other Korean restauraunts. The combo we also got with cheese which definitely elavates it. It definitely feels like a heavy dish that will make you really full after a few bites. I liked that the meat fell off the bone with how tender it is. The soup stock felt like there was something missing flavor wise though. The interior of the store is also well done and an improvement over the previous restauraunt which was Zen Sushi Bistro where it was a very dark environment. The service is the main aspect that turns me off lately with Han Sang and I wish they expanded their banchan more.
