It was my first time visiting here and I came with my friend. We both had the Wuhan noodles the lady working there recommended us, and it was so delicious! She was also very kind and helping with us and explained the way to eat it. The atmosphere was nice with a warm and family kind of feeling

What a great find! I came in for lunch by myself and had Wuhan hot noodles and Hot and Sour Lotus Roots. They were baby lotus roots that were so crisp, light and refreshing. I loved them and wish I could have them right now.

Tastes authentication but lacks a bit effort therefore is 85% replica of the original Hubei dishes. The loots root soup is good but a little diluted. The wuhan bean skin is good but the sticky rice is too mushy. however, the flavor is there, so recommended.

Best Wuhan food in the US west coast! Someone might argue it’s not as great as local great ones you can find in Wuhan, which is a kind of excessive expectations I would say that you have in the US since raw material are really different.
Anyway, I miss this restaurant a lot after moving out of peninsula.

The owner was super friendly and the food was good. After placing the order the food was delivered to our table very quickly.
Staying in Millbrae for a day between flights, I searched online for a place to eat. When I saw that there is a restaurant specializing in Hubei cuisine, I could hardly contain myself and went right over. The menu lists a whole range of dishes from Hubei! I ordered lotus root fritters and stuffed beancurd skin (I was by myself, otherwise I would have definitely ordered one of the Hubei style fish dishes). Excellent! In addition, the hostess and the owner are charming people - if I lived in the area I would be a regular customer. If you are in Millbrae, you really should stop in and order one or more of their Hubei specialties.

Due to the closure of my favorite restaurant nearby, I have to find my new favorite Sichuan place.
So far, Hubei restaurant is proving to be the one. The food is tasty, at least the Sichuan dishes that I pick. Time will tell if they can live to the standards set by the other restaurant that closed recently.

We had the Kung Pao Lamb and Beef Chao Mein dishes. They were both tasty, but the Kung Pao Lamb was extra delicious. The folks at the restaurant were very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome.

I've been here many times in the past two or three years and it's always delicious! I must order the squirrel fish every time. I also like the lotus root sandwich, pearl meatballs, hot dry noodles and tofu skin. They are also delicious.
