I really loved the pickled sliced beef noodle with rice noodles in the first few bites. But I made the mistake of asking for some soy sauce and black vinegar, and I didn't realize both sauces were sweetened, which killed all the nice spicy flavors. I need to re try this soup again to properly evaluate.

The biang biang lamb dry noodle was mid.

Had never been to a Chinese Ramen shop before. Was pleasantly surprised. I can see where other reviewers might complain about service as their system is definitely different. Not bad service just a weird system.

Food was delivered quick actually got my entree before the appetizer but no biggie. Food had great presentation and was solid. I decided to go with mild spice but be warned if you don't have a tolerance get no spice. If you like spicy go wild.

Boba was ok but again the ordering adds subjective elements to where it was probably my fault for how i ordered it.

Overall would eat there again.

Honestly, pretty disappointing. I had the beef stew with extra daikon and pickled veg, as well as an add on egg. The entire thing came to about $28 and I was pretty happy when it came out. Upon tasting it, I realized that everything was a bit bland and one note, perhaps the broth hadn't simmered long enough or lacked herbs and spices for flavor. I've had some killer soups in SF from other shops at almost half the price of this one and better value. Perhaps I didn't order the right thing, but I say spare your wallet and go somewhere else.

The beef rib with noodles was phenomenal. I ordered with the highest spice and it was a comfy level of you're used to spicy stuff. Will definitely return!

Had the Garlic Biang Biang Noodles with side of Basil pesto broth. So good. Not sure why the other locations got closed. This place is my absolute favorite. So visit till they are open ❤️
Also had Mango Pomelos boba. Service was quick and good.

Social Eatery is a space that has 2 restaurants and 1 boba place all in one - Noodleosophy, Rice Monster, and Grapeholic. It’s very close to the Millbrae BART/Caltrain station (a 3-minute walk) and also has a pretty big parking lot??.There’s a screen near the entrance for people that are just ordering boba to-go. If you’re there for dine-in, they’ll lead you to some seats and you can order from all three places at the same time. Lots of seats for dine-in and there’s even a foosball table⚽️.Our table had a QR code for you to see the menu and order but they brought a tablet over for us to order. Not sure why but I have no issues with that??‍♀️.We ordered Beef Stew & Tendon (公公半筋半腩) and Pickled & Sliced Beef (知府酸湯肥牛).Took a little while for the orders to arrive (almost thought that they were preparing everything from scratch and cutting a whole cow open on the spot?), and there were kids running around in the place so it was pretty loud?. But after tasting the food, I have to say that the wait was worth it! The servings were pretty big, and the broth was very flavorful. Wasn’t too overly seasoned and the texture of the noodles were great.

Wow! I was craving noodles and came here and ordered the Garlic Biang biang noodles. I was blown away. These are so incredibly good and perfect for what I was craving. I don’t eat meat so I ordered the Garlic, which just had broccoli, garlic, bean sprouts, sesame oil and green onions. I added the tofu, which I don’t think I’d do next time. I didn’t get the green onions so I asked for some and they gave me a side. Definitely be back for this!

I ordered more than 40 minutes before I showed up at the restaurant. As in I ordered online, where the restaurant told me it would be ready at 12:07. I arrived at 12:11 to pick it up right before my train but was told it'd be ready in 5 minutes. Needless to say, I missed my train. I dont understand the point of ordering online if my food isn't ready when specified. I mean I'd be fine if I showed up early and it wasn't ready but almost 50 minutes after ordering is, I believe, a reasonable amount of time to expect my food. That withstanding, the food was actually yummy. I ordered the mild spicy beef stew with biang biang noodles. The broth was light, sweet and sour. The beef was tender and flavorful. The noodles were soft and chewy. I just wouldn't count on take out orders. Next time, if going again, I would eat inside.

No service at all. No water is provided. I can also smell odor from the restroom sitting at the bar. A mandatory 15% tip is charged on the bill, which is ridiculous for 0 service.
