The smash burger was great and similar to what you would expect. However, the beef patty could use some additional salt. Also, when I asked for the special sauce, it was served with mayonnaise. I think the flavor would be more enhanced with the special sauce.
I saw so many reviews claiming this to be one of the best burgers in the bay area. Maybe my expectations were a lot higher because of that, but overall its really just an average burger. Nothing special about it my opinion. And my bun was stale as well. Definitely would rather go to in-n-out for a cheaper price and equal flavor.
We were a bit lost at the beginning since we ordered online and didn't find the truck at the spot marked on maps... However, when we did find it (parked just a block away), we had some of the best food we tasted during our stay in SF ❤️ Absolutely amazing nachos and burgers! Thanks!
