I stopped by Anderson Bakery yesterday to grab a blueberry muffin, but the experience was disappointing. The employee helping me was chatting with a coworker and not really paying attention grabbing the muffin with the tongs facing away from them. When I got to my car and checked the bag, I realized I’d been given a mango muffin instead.

I had to drive back, which was frustrating enough, but what really bothered me was what happened next. When I handed the muffin back, the employee said “sorry” and then put the muffin I had touched back into the display case with the rest of the muffins. I mentioned that this was a food safety issue since I had already handled it, and only then did he take it back out.

I’m not someone who nitpicks, but that really grosses me out. It made me question how they handle other items behind the counter. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning after that experience.

My wife ordered me a latte and it tasted awful. We figured out the milk they used was probably expired.

We didn’t take any pics but everything we grabbed to try was delish. Reminded us a lot of 85 Bakery. We tried the raspberry cream cheese pastry, cheese danish, brioche, chocolate croissant, chicken empanada, and tiramisu. Not a crumb left lol.

I would have given zero stars if possible. This was the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. I specifically ordered an extra hot coffee but was given a cold one instead. When I brought it up, the cashier said they only have one temperature setting and offered to microwave it. I declined, and they refused to refund the money.

To make things worse, the staff had a rude and dismissive attitude — as if you’re expected to accept whatever they serve without question. It also felt like they didn’t want us to stay in the store. We were a group of five, including three elderly people, and they asked us not to use a larger table that was completely empty and not reserved. It was clear they didn’t want us to sit and spend time there.

If you value respectful service and basic hospitality, avoid this place at all costs.

Food: tried cappuccino cream cake, cheese danish and chocolate eclairs. The danish and eclair were flat and lacked any flavor. Felt as though they were old and chewy. The cake was decent and rhe coffee was good.

Ambiance: nicely decorated environment inside the great mall and the service is quick and fast.

The salesperson with spectacle is the most rude person I have come across. The person did not allow us to even sit and eat. I was with my 2 year old son. He said not allowed to sit and eat. Not sure other tables were occupied. I m really hopeful that I will never visit Anderson bakery again.

I loved this place before, but now it got much worse. They don't warm up the pastries and it affects the taste. It is not tasty if you want to sit down and not take it home. They don't even offer a water

I do not recommend the place, I bought pastries and they were old, all soft and chewy. I showed the employees the product and they ignored me. I asked to speak to a manager and they didn't want to change the pastry for something fresh, nor did they give me my money back. They didn't want to try the product and treated me like a liar. Terrible service

They could educate employees to have better customer service. It's money invested for a fresh product, not something in bad condition.

Andersen Bakery has some pretty solid pastries and baked goods for a decent price. I was really surprised by how much I loved their white chocolate cranberry(I think) cookie they added to my bag. It’s not my normal vibe, but it was one of the best cookies I’ve had in quite some time.

I definitely recommend swinging by if you are wondering the mall. There very well could be a line, though. So, be prepared for that.

Oh! Also, it’s located at the opposite side of the mall from the food court. Don’t make the same mistake I made. If you want to get food from here specifically, don’t park on the food court side of the mall.

Good to take a rest here while shopping
However food is really bad and service is rather poor:
Only bottled water available. I asked for a cup they said no you have to buy bottled water
Coffee espresso only double shot option
They dont warm up anything with sugar in them.
