It was our first time trying this bakery. From the pastries we tried I can say the quality of the breads are good, but the filling that they call pistachio is nothing even close it’s a meringue based filling with excessive almond extract which is not pleasant to eat. When I gave them the feedback they said we don’t bake our pastries ourselves.Another interesting behavior we observed was when we asked for utensil and their response was that we have lots of customers and can’t give you more than one set. As if we weren’t a customer! The store wasn’t that busy either!!

Food is good but service sucks. Ran by kids that are rude. Cussing on the sales floor. Miss the two older ladies who ran it. The younger guy who currently runs it is rude and has no filter. He speaks to elderly people with no respect. No management presents on the floor. Always in the back goofing off.

We ordered a bread for dine in and asked if they can warm it up in the microwave for just 20 seconds to melt the cheese a little bit, but they refused. Seeing the microwave at the back of the counter. I wish the manager can help better there service. Please manager educate your employees why they refuse to warm the bread if the microwave are just not doing anything. 20 seconds is not too much for your customers to enjoy the bread warm.

Best strawberry cake slices! And the service was great too. While you're there, go over and see the wonderful people at The Wright Beauty Candle Co. They have the best candles and body creams.

Clam chowder is good but the doughnut with filling was ok. Not crowded on Friday lunch time.I tried the cold brew coffee a year ago and it was ok too.

Made my way to Anderson bakery at 9am because Yelp says they were opened. When I got there, I was unable to get access to their store, because the mall was closed. This business needs to update its Yelp profile so customers don't show up when they're closed.

Location in the mall with so many choice from pastries/ variety breads and great option for freshly made to order sandwiches. BBQ chicken sandwich or Ultimate Turkey club are so yummy !! Their cappuccino cakes are the best in town. don't forget to grab some before you leave store. Long line on weekend but service is very fast/ friendly.

Conveniently located inside the Great Mall in Milpitas. This place is always busy and attracts lots of foot traffic. I wish they would have more tables and chairs for customers. It's always a full house feeling inside. They need a bigger retail spot with outdoor seating too. Customers are always gathering at the front counter area and undecided on what they want, so expect longer than usual wait time. It would really help them out if spacing/layout was rearranged. The variety of pastries and lunch options are all pretty colorful and delicious. Large window presentation. No wonder it always catches my attention. I usually come here for a quick sandwich bite or grab and go pastries. It's hard to decide when everything is equally just as good in the $4-$6 per piece range. Sliced cakes portions are small and they aren't cheap, so do expect $7.99 and up for each piece of cake. Fruit tarts are always a preferred choice. Try some custard or cinnamon buns, croissants, muffins, cookies, etc. There's a lot to like about their wide selections here, but it really takes time to get what you want. Overall, everything still tastes great here. Try visiting during non-peak hours instead.

Walking arou d in Great Mall, other than the food court usual stuff Anderson Bakery has really good food and fresh backed goods. There are many options for freshly made sandwiches and salads as well. You can ask them to warm up any baked item you like and it increases the flavor many folds. Sitting space is a bit tight but is has some so that is fine. Definitely recommended place.

waited 15 mins w 3 people in front of me to get and order in, I left after 15 mins because the line never moved and the employees where to busy filling some order that had come in for pick up. The employees are not able to adjust from one task to another and no one seemed to be in charge.
