EXTREMELY poor butter chicken AND naan. Missed every mark possible, except price. I should've known the 3.6 rating was a red flag..
Butter chicken is too spicy by default. Luckily I enjoy spicy curry, but it's too much for the base level. The gravy itself leaves a lot to be desired, tasting really just of chili and not much else, and the chicken inside the curry is very tough, stale, and flavorless - an evident of a lack of attention and care given to its preparation. I also ordered it to go and it wasn't ready when I got there, meaning they were still preparing it. So how was the curry only lukewarm when they handed it to me? I don't think it was freshly made. Not a big deal on its own but all things considered, it's yet another demerit.
The garlic naan was the worst I've had as well. It was ultra thin instead of pillowy and overcooked to the point of being crispy almost the whole way through leaving just a couple inches in the center to be soft enough to not shatter into pieces. It's basically a hard shell tortilla.
At $2 per garlic naan and $11ish for a curry, it sounds dreamy but you get what you pay for here, and perhaps even less.
Disappointing rubbish. I wanted to try the live pani puri stall outside but I don't really ever want to go back.

Really grateful for them to be serving until 2AM; specially on the craving days! Midnight biryani at your luxury. The quality of biryani however is not as fab on some days

I just got caught with the worst fears of my life ... I got these for my family from Milpitas was expecting it to give it to all my family ..... I had one piece last night as sample it was good looking and I got diarrhea now and if my kids or parents wouldn't have noticed ..... my family would have been in the same situation
