*****Customer Experience During the COVID-19 Pandemic***** Blue Sky is a Chinese BBQ/Vietnamese restaurant located a couple shops to the right of Milpitas Lion Supermarket. I came here on 08/22/2020 based on a family friend's recommendation. The BBQ master was smoking a cigarette outside when I walked up at around 4:35 pm. He quickly hustled inside to take my order. Aside from the health department PSAs posted on the door, I didn't notice any safety measures. The selection was slim pickings. The only items left were BBQ pork, a couple roast ducks, and a small hunk of roast pork. I should have walked out right there and then, but I was in a hurry so I quickly asked for a couple pounds of BBQ pork ($10.99 per pound). He cut the two large pieces into halves per my request and placed them inside a takeout box. I sliced a piece up for dinner after I returned home. Although the appearance was decently appetizing, it wasn't prepared well. The texture was dry and tough. It was clear that the BBQ master did not loosen the meat up (tenderize it) prior to cooking it. Because of that, the marinade did not penetrate the meat beyond the surface and the inside actually tasted like regular cooked pork. Also, the marinade lacked the necessary sweet and savory balance, which is a must for good BBQ pork. All things considered, this place failed to meet my standard. Hence, a return trip is highly unlikely. BONUS MATERIAL: - Major credit cards accepted.

This place is great for takeout! I didn't get to try this place before COVID but it's definitely a great option for food these days! I always order the combo BBQ rice plate, and I can easily say it's one of the most worth it dishes cause of what you get and how much you get. It comes with a lot of food and I am usually able to turn this into 2 meals when I get it. If I remember correctly it's around $12.50 and you can get roast pork, duck, and bbq pork! And always ask for extra sauce as the sauce is basically what makes the dish!!

Blue Sky Cuisine is located in Milpitas. The restaurant has changed since I last visited. The Chinese BBQ is still there, but they have added Vietnamese Pho to their dine-in (currently take-out) menu. I saw the meats on display and decided to get some. I ordered a pound of BBQ Pork and a whole Roast Duck. While waiting, I watched the meats getting cut and gazed at the other meats on display. I soon got my order and went on my merry way. The BBQ Pork was great. The Roast Duck, while flavorful, was a bit salty. I'll need to make a return visit to sample more of the BBQ.

Food here is amazing! I ordered a take out and when i picked up the guy is always always nice and friendly to me, this is my 5th here. The position is so big, I could make it to 2 meals. The BBQ pork and rice is very delicious, the meat is perfectly seasoned, the chicken wing is also delicious, the eggrolls is very good as well and authentic and pho here is also great! The best part is the PRICE is so CHEAP I got 4 dishes and my total came to $35!!! ?

I ordered chicken pho and ask them to add broccoli. The chicken was not properly cooked. I was able to see the redness of bones and fats and the broccoli was also yellowish in color. I was hungry but I left it there. Very disappointed.

Not a fancy restaurant but their food was great. Ordered hu tieu nam vang and it's pretty decent, my husband ordered combo three which had roasted duck, roasted chicken and Xa xiu meat, a side of rice, veggies and soup. It was reallll good. I would highly recommend this place for roasted duck, chicken, pork and lechon customer service was good and they have clean table and utensils.
This restaurant is close to work so usually we stop at least 1 a week to eat. Let me tell you... sooo delicious. Potstickers with the sauce is to die for. Spring roll and peanut sauce delicious. Fried rice is yummy !

Very clean restaurant, the chicken was really fresh and the shrimp rolls and chicken wings were very good. Nothing was oily or greasy. The best Pho we have been to in a long time.

Pho house special is delicious. Broth is favorfull, good quality meats. I really enjoyed the tendons. Meat to noodle ratio is spot on. The duck. The roast is perfect. Skin has a bit of crisp and the duck was render, duck was not that fatty as others I had. Staff was polite and gave recommendations. Two thumbs up!
