Today i came with my family, and my brother YouTube food vlogger, visited to taste the food but felt let down. The counter guy was irresponsible. He ignored us when he got a call, leaving us waiting. We had to ask multiple times for water, desserts, and extra plates he forgot us doing his own work. The Egg Roll was salty, but the fish fry, chicken biryani, mutton cutlet, and Mogalai veg cutlet were amazing. Service declined, but food quality remained good. Hoping they improve service so we can continue enjoying their delicious meals.

Great food, casual atmosphere, loved the fish fry especially. We also got chicken puff, chicken chow mein and phuchka. Everything was very authentic and Calcutta-style. Great service by Nikhil. We plan to return to check out more of the menu.

This place serves very authentic Bengali cuisine. They go overboard with the oil in the pulao and biryani but DO NOT forget to order their fish fry and egg chicken roll, it's lip smacking good. Nolen gurer roshogolla and rasmalai is also very close to original home taste. Recently they have been overwhelmed with a lot of customers and service can be slow.

Tried the new restaurant Calcutta Chaat and Bakery today . The main reason for a restaurant visit is the food and that had been awesome.The Biriyanis had typical Kolkata flavors. High on flavor , with the smell of potato and low on the spice . The rolls were equally tasty. Looking forward to future visits as the restaurant matures itself and start serving Bengali food to the diversity crowd of bay area.

We ordered Gobi and Dahi Puchka. Gobi Manchurian was decent, crispy and spicy. However, the yoghurt was too sour in the Dahi Puchka. When I pointed this out, the staff said “I can’t do anything about this”. It’s bizarre to hear this. Don’t recommend this place.
