I love Sichuan food and had high hopes for this place. It ended up not being bad but was meh. The tofu in the ma po tofu was not at all tasty. The pricing is a bit high for what you get. Huge menu, which is usually a yellow flag.

Hidden gem of the Bay Area . Chili garden has solid dishes all around from traditional mala pot, boiled fish, to the best fried chicken you’ve never had before. Compares to any other places you can find in

We went here for lunch with friends on the weekend. It was large and delicious. We ordered fat beef in sour soup, fried garlic and moss, sliced pork and fish, which were very good?

Dishes weren't as described. Food was unpalatable even though I'm not a picky eater and pretty adventurous.

Unpalatable. The salt in each of the three dishes was not correct, and the ingredients were not very fresh.

Ordered only two dishes to go. Would revisit for the stir fried duck blood with chives, tastes like mild spicy only but flavorful.

The boiled fish was like a bowl of soy sauce soup. It was the worst boiled fish I have ever tasted.

My recent visit to Mongolian restaurant left me utterly impressed. The ambiance was enchanting, with its authentic Mongolian decor and soothing lighting that set the perfect mood. The service was exceptional – the staff was not only courteous but also incredibly knowledgeable about Mongolian cuisine, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. And the food, oh, the food! It was a symphony of flavors that transported me straight to Mongolia. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with authenticity. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

I've been a long-time patron of this restaurant, However, my recent experiences have been disappointing. The food quality has noticeably declined, all the dishes were salty and oily. for the lamb dish I ordered there’s barely two pieces of lean meat, the rest were fatty parts that’s not edible.Very sad by how this place turns out. Hope the management can work on restoring the restaurant to its former reputation, especially I notice there’re more people dining here than before.

Sorry but really unappetizing food, loaded w.msg, bitter, super bitter, is all we could taste after 5 different dishes. The menu is too extensive BUT strangely all the dishes taste the same, just bitter. Broken, chipped plates & cups, a no.Service was ok, they answered all of our questions regarding the dishes but were in a hurry to as they were tending to a packed restaurant.Mostly all Chinese patrons, this food is deemed good by Chinese people??? Maybe starving students think so? Do not understand why it is still open? We always take to-go if we have leftovers but left all of the mostly uneaten food here. Ate supplemental instant noodles at home. Sad.
