I have been to Darda many times for lunch with colleagues. The service is always extremely fast and efficient, and the food is always top notch, it's a favourite place to find Chinese dishes and I recommend their Mongolian Beef, Spicy crispy chicken, and the beef fried rice. All their spicy dishes are really good.
To me it feels very traditional for the type of restaurant it is, so the service is fast and brings your food - but it will not be like a Western-style dining experience where someone will kiss your forehead to make sure you are happy lol, but I've never had a request refused or any staff ever be rude when we have asked for things. I love this place and will probably be returning many times in the future!
Oh and yes, if you are a bit of a fumbler they do offer forks for those who aren't chopstick-inclined :)
The parking lot is always busy, it's a big center in Milpitas with lots of restaurants, tea shops (lots of boba options if you want some!) and so parking can be a bit hectic at peak times, but I've always been able to find a space.

Nonsense ! They are either buying reviews or each time they get a bad review they change it , then change it back . 2 months back my aunt go food poisoning from darda , have been going since a long time, basically grew up here . It’s disservice and disappointing when A reputable place changes due to greed , I made my Mom go even when she was against it , the food was ok below average, no Salt or nothing , shrimps looks like they have been tortured or something . Shrimps used to be medium size in the fried rice . Not like tiny. We won’t be coming back.

The food was a bit of a mixed bag. The chicken chow mein and chestnut chicken with garlic sauce were both good, but they were missing something to really make the flavors pop. While the service was quick, it wasn't particularly friendly. The portion sizes, however, were perfect for two people.

This place was recommended as the best place for hot noodle soup, the kind we Koreans crave after a drunken evening. I chose the seafood hot noodle soup (they have the same without the “hot”), and my friend chose a Three-Flavor Noodle Soup—no red soup base. They also provide two choices of noodles: long or cut. I opted for the cut noodle. I enjoyed the menu and will return to try the main dishes and dim sum soon. I highly recommend it.

We love Darda’s food . We are regular since 2003, when ever we visited Ca Darda was must go to place . Then we moved here since then Our kids grew up on Darda food. Birthday, anniversary, Graduation, you name it we celebrated here .
We ordered only 3 things this time as I was craving their Chow mein and my husband wanted to have soup and my son wanted Mongolian beef . Taste was usually the same the way we were craving..

Love love this restaurant!! It's one of our first stops when we visit the bay area. Highly recommend the chicken corn soup, cumin lamb, chow mein (handmade noodles), and pepper fish!

Excellent food! Best Chinese halal restaurant in the Bay Area. Portions are good. It was crowded when we went, perhaps due to the weekend.
We got two of the triple beef + seafood soups one with the thick hand cut noodles and one with the regular thin noodles. Also got dry triple seafood + beef chow mein, chili chicken, thick sesame and onion pancakes, and steamed rice. Jasmine tea is on the house! Good affordable food, good quantities, good service. I will definitely be back with the family. Make sure you ask for the chili oil for your soup, gives an extra kick! Oh my god i'm so full after this dinner and we still couldn't eat half the food and had to get half of it to go.
Don't let the atmosphere fool you and you won't feel any warmth from the servers but you're here for the food. Everything came fast and tasty. The dishes look the same but they all taste very different from one another. The bread with sesame seeds is wow
