This spot will soon be used for office space, but Sahar has a weekly limited menu for pickup. Text or call (408)802-3345 to be added to her list! (she ok'd me to post this.) She has plans to move her business page to Facebook, possibly. Her lamb special is hugely popular and I sincerely don't know if I can live life without it. We picked it up from her last week and it was delicious and incredible...and was enough for two meals (or more). I forgot the rice had cauliflower in it -- amazingly and perfectly cooked. It came with tzaziki sauce - whole tub of it. Here's snapshots of this week's chicken special and salmon special with tomato & cucumber salad.

The Shawarma is not good not the one that we know on Middle East

Middle Eastern food and the atmosphere at this location is super good. Service is always super even when they have a full house. Definitely worth going back to. It has an awesome atmosphere.

I wanted to like this place so much, and based on the reviews, my expectations were pretty high. I ordered food for our team at work, so I understand is a large group and delivery food arrives cold in most cases...but honestly the food was no good and we were all like 'blah'. I had the shawarma plate and the meat was tasteless, hard like a rock and looked and smelled old. I could not finish it. the accompanying items in my plate were watery and non flavorful. I tried the falafel we got for a person that did not attend our meeting and was not crispy and hard. I was very surprised how bad the food was and we all commented the same. Maybe because it was a Monday and maybe the fruits are not fresh then...but even the cucumber tomato salad was totally insipid and looked old.

The best middle Eastern food place in the Bay area. Unbelievably tasty. Not a fancy place. But super clean and great atmosphere. Only open for lunch. Really authentic.

The owner is incredibly warm and friendly. The food is amazing. Authentic Mediterranean, reasonably priced and portions are perfect for what you pay. Vegan options, this is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Milpitas.

Good food, friendly service, worth hunting for, yum. We had trouble finding this little gem, apparently the description of it being behind the gas station was not quite accurate. Had to hunt around a bit to find Gourmet Express tucked into a business center, but our efforts were rewarded. Omigoodness, the sujuk, which neither of us had heard of before, and loved how different and delicious it tasted. Sooo sooo tasty, perfect meat to bread ratio, and the bread it came in was toasted in the manner that panini are done. Great texture and taste, what more can you ask for? Both of us must be big eaters, because we probably could have ordered an extra sandwich to split to make that delicious goodness last a little longer and to be completely sated. I wish this place was closer to where we live because I'd be happy to have that sandwich at least once a week.

You can't find a sweeter restaurant owner around! I have LOVED this restaurant from the minute I walked in. She really makes you feel at home and her food is DELICIOUS! It's made from scratch and with so much love.

Do yourself a favor - call Sahar if you need a catered lunch for your team. Excellent homestyle Mediterranean food. We ordered chicken kabobs, hummus, falafel, rice, tabbouleh, and tomato cucumber salad. Ordering was super-easy (Sahar gave some ideas), and the food was ready (and hot) right on time. We INHALED all the food - EXCELLENT VALUE.

Vegetarians are well accommodated here. Vegans should order the combination plate. At a minimum be sure to try falafel & baba ganouj. The falafel is crisp but has a soft texture inside that makes it stand out from others. It's quite good usually around $10 - $12 for lunch
