Food was good. Quality was okay not the best. I feel like the waitress was trying to rush us because we had the hotpot on and chatting. She kept coming and asking if we still need it. The restaurant was way too cold. I don’t think they had the heater on. I was feeling cold while having the hotpot

The service is very nice, the portion is large and the price is affordable. I am really willing to leave a tip of more than 20%. It would be nice if they could add more drink options. The team had a good meal.

We came in on a Saturday night to try this place for the first time. The place was packed with customers and the wait was long as it is a small chinese hot pot restaurant. The food items are not all you can eat but the final bill was certainly less at the end. Also, they don't have some crazy 2 hours limit to eat as some restaurants I know.We ordered 3 different broth bases, including the spicy Tallow Bear. All came, in a single pot divided in 3 parts. I have to admit I was intrigued and came to check out the Tallow Bear. That was so cool and oh boy! expect a quite spicy but rich and flavorful broth base once it melts in the broth.

Very reasonably priced hot pot restaurant, you can order multiple soup bases and they will give you a split pot. They are not AYCE, so you order a la carte but everything was very affordable and will easily fill you up. The ramen and noodle dishes were extremely big, so no need to order one portion per person (unless you want to!). On the other hand, the meat dishes were fair in portion size, so scale that up if you want more meat in your meal. They have a sauce station with a few options so you can make your own sauce mix, and a grass jelly pot too for dessert. Staff came by multiple times very quickly to ask if we were ready to order, but were still patient with us as we figured out what to order. The English translations were not all that great, but we sort of figured it out via trial and error. Overall, the restaurant is a bit on the small side, so come early to avoid a wait and they do have some bigger tables in the back.

This restaurant is not only the cream of the the crop among all hot pot places in the Bay Area, but also the best hot pot place I've ever been to in the US - after being on this country for 20 years. If you are in the Bay Area and you are into Chinese hot pot, you can't miss it!

Probably my new favorite chinese hot pot spots in the area. Reasonable priced, 6 of us ate for around $37 each tip included which seems high but for the quality and considering it's chinese hot pot it's very reasonable. There are a lot of soup options but we got the two spicy ones as well as the seafood one. The spicy one with a fuck load of bean sprouts was definitely the best and we got the bear to toss in to make it richer. The portions for the items were all pretty good and the service was friendly as well. It wasn't too busy but they did forget a couple items but they apologized and brought it out quickly.Overall great delicious hot pot spot in the area!

My friend recommended this hot pot restaurant but it only took me a couple years until I tried it out. Workers were quite to greet us and we got seated right away. The restaurant was small but they had designated areas for large party. There were also plenty of parking spaces. They went through the menu and gave us some recommendations. We ordered three soup bases: spicy & oil, spicy & beef tallow, and three fresh. We also ordered several dishes of meats and veggies. We definitely ordered too much for just two people so we had left overs. They also had a sauce bar where you can make your own sauce.Overall, the experience and food was good, and price was reasonable for a hot pot restaurant. Most of the items were a la carte with some combo dishes. I would definitely come back and try their other soup bases.

06.30 This is my 10th time here.Jiuding Flavor Restaurant is a fantastic place for authentic Chinese cuisine. Their specialty, "Yang Xiezi" (Scorpion Hot Pot), is a must-try dish that truly stands out. The combination of tender lamb and flavorful spices creates a delightful taste experience. Their hot pot selection is also impressive, offering a wide range of fresh ingredients. The best part is the reasonable prices, making it a budget-friendly option. It's no wonder I find myself going back every week. For those craving authentic flavors without breaking the bank, Jiuding Flavor Restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
