I absolutely love this Yunnan restaurant!
It’s a total gem, especially for someone like me who loves bold and flavorful dishes. I saw they had some new items on the menu recently, so of course I had to come try them right away!

The food was just as amazing as always — full of aroma, depth, and that unique Yunnan spice kick. The Guizhou Stinky Shrimp Sour Stir-Fried Beef was incredibly flavorful — tangy, spicy, and packed with umami. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you reaching for another bite even when your mouth is on fire

And the Dai-Style Beef Offal Bone Broth Mushroom Hotpot was pure comfort in a pot. The broth was rich and milky, full of mushroom and beef flavor, and the combination of textures from the offal, beef, and wild mushrooms was just perfect.

Every visit here reminds me why this place is one of my absolute favorites. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Yunnan and Guizhou flavors — intense, aromatic, and unforgettable!

This is a Yunnan restaurant that specializes in mushroom dishes.
Every dish is quite interesting. In fact, even the simple fried potatoes are delicious because the sauce is very special.
I didn't like the banana leaf wrapped fish very much because the sauce is sweet.

Server was super friendly !

Mid-Autumn lunch with my son.
The Yunnan mushrooms were definitely the star of the meal — fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked.
Would lovely to come back!

This is my first time ever writing a bad review on Google, but I just couldn’t stay silent this time. I paid $45 for one dish, and what I received was absolutely disappointing barely any food inside!

As you can see from the photos, there were only a few tiny pieces of each ingredient even the cheapest one, cabbage, had fewer than five small leaves. The portion is ridiculously small for the price, and it looks nothing like the pictures they advertised.

I feel completely misled the pricing is unreasonable, and the presentation is deceptive. This experience was extremely disappointing and definitely not worth the money!!!!!!!!

There was no wait at Jun Bistro—we were seated right away, which was a nice start. The menu featured a lot of mushroom-based dishes, which I really enjoyed. I appreciated that they customized the food for my vegetarian friend, a thoughtful touch that made the experience even better. The only recommendation I’d make is for the servers to check in a bit more often to see how guests are doing. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would come back.

We came around 11:15am and were seated right away. Ordering was done through the phone, which was quick and easy.

We got the Spicy Ground Pork Rice Noodle, Kids Rice Noodle, and the Truffle & Mushroom Rice (contains pork). Everything was delicious and satisfying without being overly salty. My toddler especially loved the truffle rice, and the kids rice noodle was perfect for little ones. The rice noodle texture was spot on—chewy and enjoyable.

Service was decent and overall we had a nice dining experience.

The food was good, but the service was poor. The staff was rude and unwelcoming, which really ruined the overall experience.

I’ve been here twice now, delicious amazing food! I’m addicted, recommend coming here again! Only thing that sucks is that there is often a long wait time between 15-30 minutes easily especially around the edge of peak times as the restaurant is small. What’s really sucked for my personal experience is that the two times I’ve been here as a party of 2 and a party of 3 is I still somehow got shoved into the tiny back “spare” seating with the table that does not match the restaurant. The cheap outdoor seating kind while the entire rest of the restaurant has normal tables. But when it comes to restaurants like this, it’s not about the ambiance it’s about the food. And the food is amazing would still come back! Just hoping to not get shoved in the back corner “bad” table again.

A very unique Asian restaurant. At least for me. Sorry if I'm not helpful because everything was great! There wasn't one thing that was just ok. Some of the items were a bit pricey but it's ok to try.
