Koi Palace in Milpitas is perpetually bustling, particularly on weekends, often with a wait of one to two hours for a table. While it offers high-quality dim sum, it comes at a steep price. For those willing to splurge, it's a worthwhile choice. However, San Francisco boasts better-priced and tastier alternatives but it’s a trek from the South Bay. Despite the crowds, the service remains commendable, though there may be long wait time during peak times.Parking in the plaza is usually hassle-free, surrounded by a variety of Asian eateries and businesses. Overall, I'd recommend it if you have both the budget and the patience.

Not a fan of the place but family like it. They charge 18% service on your bill. The last time we were here. They gave us tea bag for our tea. If you are charging us for tea please give loose tea leaves. Food is so so.

Good and authentic dimsum dishes. Service is good despite the busy weekends. The slight problem is the bustling environment over the weekend that makes seating and waiting not exactly comfortable. Still a good choice for a decent dimsum lunch.

We came here for dim sum, and everything was delicious. The service was extremely quick and attentive. We did have to wait to get a table despite already having made a reservation, but the wait was much shorter compared to if we hadn’t made a reservation at all. This dim sum place is one of the best we’ve found in the states, and we definitely will be back when we’re back in the Bay Area!

One of the worst places I have eaten in South Bay. We had ordered pork chop, soup dumplings and prawn Sui mai (dumplings). Everything was super bland and also service was very abrupt and felt a little discriminatory.I do want to try other dishes and see if my experience will improve or not.
Food is tasty. The place is cozy but usually very crowded. Please noted that 18% tips are mandatory. That's what I can't accept.

Food is great! We love their dumplings. Service is OK and it feels like sitting in an assembly line. Ambience is noise during weekends.

Excellent food and service. All the standard dim sum is here with some specials. Food was tasty and hot. Atmosphere is a little better than Mayflower down the street.
