This place was so good! Discovered what Donburi was in SF a few months back and so happy there is a Donburi spot near home!
Food was amazing and great portions for the price and I can not stress this enough, the pork belly was melt in your mouth wanting 15 servings good.

Found this place on Google while looking for food nearby. I had the Wagyu Beef Sukiyaki Don (soup), hubby had the Shitaki Donburi and we split Gyoza. First off, if you enjoy a fantastic bold broth, then get the soup. It was so amazingly flavorful. It really packed a punch. The Donburi was super tasty and full of mushrooms. The Gyoza were also tasty. Clean and cute atmosphere. Definitely coming back.

After traveling for a few days, it was refreshing to stumble upon this delightful little restaurant. This was, hands down, the best meal that we have had in several days, if not weeks.

Una don: 5/5 Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and sauced unagi over perfectly steamed rice. Best unagi ever.
Tempura don: 5/5 Wonderfully cooked Tempura and rice. Crisp and flavorful. Massive portion.
Udon noodles with beef: 5/5 I have never enjoyed an udon dish as much as this. Everything was cooked and sauced to perfection, just amazing, a hit with the whole family. We will be back for this one again. I do wish it was a bit larger of a portion, as it was the family favorite. I could eat this weekly and never grow tired of it.
It was good, not perfect, but satisfied our desire.
Miso soup: 3/5 A bit watered down, it could have been a little more flavorful, but still enjoyable.
Very good, well cooked and salted. It's not the best that we have had, but it's still quite good.
I highly recommend this establishment. Their food quality was an unexpected surprise given that this is a counter serve restaurant. The food is wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the laid-back atmosphere was inviting after a day of traveling and hiking.

Really delicious japanese donburi/rice bowl dishes. They have chicken, pork cutlets, beef and unagi, you can also add curry for a few bucks. Especially recommend the curry as all the flavor just mixes together really well.
The portion is large, especially the appetizers, the chicken karage is huge for $10. Has been coming here at least a few times a week, never had any problems with the food or service. Highly recommend.

Love the food here! This place is one of our favorite restaurants for quick Japanese food. We've had the Beef Sukiyaki Don, Pork Katsu Curry, Gyudon, and Potstickers. Those are our go to usuals and they never disappoint. The noodles have nice firmness, with the soup filling and delicious. Service is always attentive and friendly. You place your order at the counter, they bring your order to you, and they clean up after you. Ambiance is always clean and comfortable. There are always several tables to choose from. We've been here a handful of times and look forward to more visits to come.

Wagyu beef sukiyaki is so delicious, I also love their oyakodon and katsu curry bowls. They’re all $16 or less too! The fried oysters were only $9 for 6 huge juicy oysters! Their portions are super big too, I always have leftovers. The vibes are very calming, tables are spaced far so you can’t hear other people’s conversations or bump elbows with them. So delicious, my favorite spot after shopping at the Great Mall.
Man at the register was very rude and does not greet, thank or say anything at all while taking your order. Gave me a dirty look because I tipped him 12% as one of the options on the Square screen.
Food was expensive for what you get, the curry is straight up microwaveable from the store and the donburi i had was purely around 2 scoops and white rice topped with chicken cutlet, the only sauce was on the cutlet and it was barely any. I was just eating plain white rice and chicken cutlet essentially, you can make this so easy at home. Friends got the Wagyu bowl and it tasted like beef from Yoshinoya, aka dry and not flavorful.
They turned off the water machine and we couldn’t get water anymore during our meal an hour before closing. Or either they needed to refill it, i’m not sure.
The atmosphere is nice and big.

Food is amazing but service is something to be worked on. Gave me the wrong dish twice and one of the wrong dishes containing something I’m allergic to. Tried to call to get it sorted and all numbers are disconnected.

They are indeed a rice bowl store, can't say anything special but at the same time they are what they are.
Price wise they're pretty fair too so worth a try for their various rice bowls. Had the eel one myself.
