We arrived 1 hour before they closed, but they allow customers to order for 75 minutes. So I just ask the waiter if she could ask their manager to let us order a little bit more every round. Their manager came and said no, and we were fine with that. But when we leave, their manager/chef came to confront me, asking why we complained and wasted his time to serve other customers?? I got so confused cuz we asked politely and I feel this is just a small valid concern. lol. I said I didn’t mean to waste his time, but I didn’t expect the chef being the manager at the same time, and it’s a customer’s right to make a request. He told me to not play the customer card??? Never seen a restaurant so aggressive to their customers. Probably that’s why your store’s half empty at 8 pm. Keep working at itOh btw their “all you can eat” option charges you 3-4 more bucks for almost every beef order you made. The waiters was not trained and spilled oil on my friends’ shirts, more than once

Love this place! All the meat we ordered is of high quality. The appetizers and the soup were great as well. One nitpick: They really need to mob the floor coz it is a bit sticky.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I’m absolutely disgusted and feel it’s my duty to warn others before they consider stepping foot in this place. The level of customer service here is abysmal - the worst I’ve ever encountered. Every single staff member, especially the manager, displayed an incredible amount of laziness and a shocking lack of professionalism. JUST DONT COME

Located somewhat in a hidden spot due to Apple Maps sending you to the wrong location, this Japanese yakiniku experience doesn't disappoint when it comes to the quality of their meat. You don't find much restaurants like Meat Time in the Bay Area... at least to my knowledge. I've been here twice. First time when it opened, I went with my family and they paid for everything (a la carte). I just know the price was expensive and the food I put in my mouth was delicious. This time, I celebrated my friend's birthday as a party of 8. It seems like the maximum you can hold at a table is 8 and any more would probably have to be split up. Interior is on the darker side, but very neat! We got the AYCE option which comes with four different main meats. One person can order one meat at a time. At the top of my head, there was the brisket with egg dipping sauce, pork belly, pork cheek, and squid. Squid was whatever. Pork belly is okay. I liked the pork cheek. But the brisket is AMAZING! It isn't chewy like how Gen's and other KBBQ spots are, and the texture is just right. The sauces they give you compliment the brisket. You can also get other meat options at the expense of paying more per plate. There was galbi, sirloin, and beef tongue. Probably something else but my friends ordered the galbi and sirloin. Definitely tasty, but I'm not willing to pay more than I need to for AYCE. Their tofu, curry rice, and karaage are really good as side dishes/appetizers/snacks. You can order as much as you want. I think my only complaint is that the meat can come out pretty slow and/or staggered. Service isn't THAT attentive, but that was because I was the one that tried to get their attention like every other minute. They're definitely staffed quite on the low side so I didn't mind too much. They are kind which makes up for it.

Food was great, liked how you can get your own meat, seafood, sauces and veggies on conveyor belt. If they didn't have what you wanted, the amazing servers would grab it for you. They were very attentive to us. They entire place was very clean as well

This is my new favorite place! The food here is so good! High quality meats and wonderful service! Highly recommend the marinaded pork cheek! The sauces are also so tasty and make the already delicious meats even better! Even the sides were amazing! The japanese kimchi was probably the best kimchi I've had in a while. And the yuzu sherbet was the perfect end to the meal. Citrusy and sweet. Definitely come here on an empty stomach...you're gonna want to keep eating.

We ordered Premium Wagyu Thick Beef Tongue, Harami, Kalbi, Misuji, choregi salad and kimchi. Thick beef tongue wasn't thick enough than I was expected but tasted good with green onion sauce. Choregi salad was good! highly recommend to order kimchi and yuzu sherbet! Staff were friendly and nice.

Just your average DIY bbq spot. Nothing to rave about. They have all you can eat options and set menus. Grills are propane grills, Workers are nice and attentive. It's pretty cold inside so I recommend wearing a sweater. There are definitely other places I would choose to go to before considering coming back here.

Horrible service. If you don’t make a reservation, even if you come the first when they open, you will have to wait in the rain for over 30mins and no one is helping you. Worst service ever. If you wish to get fed by your anger, strongly recommend this place!

I don't know how good the food is but we were second to get here at 5:55 and was told to wait outside (raining) if we didn’t have reservations. We waited until 6:15 when most people were settled in and few more people arrived, we were told to continue waiting for 10 minutes. Just how hard is getting people a table to sit before everything else?

Had a great birthday dinner here! The servers were super attentive and recommended we get the set meal which included several cuts of meat as well as appetizers and soup/ rice. Everything was delicious especially the brisket! Meat Time will definitely be my new go to BBQ spot in Milpitas.
