Worst chicken fried steak for 25 $ I have ever eaten. It was like the breaded a hamburger and fried it then slopped white flavorless gravy. I remember when Black Bear Diner was good and the portions were generous. Really a sad state y'all have let your restaurant get to.

Nice cabin/woods-like atmosphere, large portions for the money you spend, and the staff is amazing♡
Kid-friendliness: Up front goodies to sell to not just kiddos, but all ages!! I bought myself and my son each a bear, they sell slippers and coffee mugs, pyjama's.... check it out for yourself♡ they have a kids menu that comes with a dessert of their choice. Choices always makes the kids happy ?

We went there on a Sunday for brunch, we were a large part of 8 and were seated in under 5 minutes. The service was good, the food options were good, and the food was really good too. I got the Vegan burger (Impossible burger kind), and some coffee and really liked the burger. 10/10 would recommend going there.

Decent service and great presentation. Service was prompt. The food was well done and good taste. Nothing out of the ordinary. Pancakes were decent. Pretty middle of the road as far as black bears. Keep it up staff!
