This place was nothing special. To be honest far from it the pricing is a little on the higher side and I wish the pricing would reflect in terms sense terms of taste. However it was a disappointment. I came here with another person and they were also disappointed with the flavor of the food. It lacked a lot. The sauces were all not great except the sauce I had on the tiger roll. I don’t recommend this place for their food. The best thing there was the ginger!! I ate 3 plates of it LOL. The ambiance is very nice and everything feels good and up to date, however, the men’s restroom smelt horrendous and not in a poop way. It smelt rotten. I was told the women’s restroom was absolutely filly and disgusting that the girl I was with didn’t even want to use the restroom and notified staff immediately. I would suggest going to Kenzo, but they’re currently closed as of now.

Why the sashimi plate only 1 per table? If
my family/ group wants sashimi 9 pcs we cant have it. So, everybody takes 1 table to get 9pcs? Doesn't make sense. We paid what they ask. Should be 1 plate (9pcs) per person. This the one dragging the stars. Second the server don’t come back to ask if you doing fine or take more orders. Third the server pick up the bowl her/his thumb touching the miso soup need to train educate the servers and they are not friendly at all no smile or etc. Food is OK I will give 3.5 - 4 stars. Fried oyster, yellow tail collar ,salmon collar (run out) want to try and butter fish nigiri is good, this what I like the most and fried oyster. (salmon, red tuna) thin slice and pail color. This place needs to improve, if not, business will go down. Sad to say 😭. I will try 1 more time.

The fish was fresh, the price isn't too bad for a AYCE either, I would recommend getting the salmon carpaccio or the salmon skin roll.
I'm surprised this place was not busy at all when we came for birthday lunch on Saturday. We did make reservation through Yelp but should've been OK even without one because only ~20% was occupied. The waiter took our order right away and food came super quick. We ordered all of their special rolls by accident but thankfully each rolls were perfect size with not too much rice so we manage to finish them but few rolls definitely feel redundant so will pay closer attention next time. They now up the sashimi allowance to 1 order of 5 pieces per person (only 1 kind of fish per order tho). I recommend getting the sashimi salad, salmon carpaccio, pepper tuna, pepper albacore for your fix of salmon, tuna, hamachi/albacore and get other fish type for your sashimi allowance. I highly recommend getting hamachi kama, Saba, tonkatsu and soft shell crabs. The takoyaki was too much dough. Was very disappointed they didn't have the mochi ice cream but their lychee ice cream (more like sorbet) is very good. Love it much more than matcha ice cream. Sesame balls are also freshly made with perfect bite size. I couldn't find anything about birthday treat but was surprised they gave free cheesecake and even play happy birthday song throughout the whole restaurants. They were also not rushing us when 90min was over. Highly recommend this place to satisfy your sushi craving!

I got the premium course for both lunch and dinner occasions on a weekday, so my service was pretty hard to mess up. For $40 this isn't bad if you can break even at least once. If you're a nigiri type like me, you always have to get the premium course. However I think having access to fish collars is worth it. The soft shell crab isn't bad. Raw fish is what you expect from an all you can eat sushi experience. I'm not sure what they do to the eel but it's more buttery than other places I had, not bad!
The only miss was the karaage ... It's not the thinly breaded baseballs of chicken thigh...it's closer to katsu nuggets.
This definitely fills the void old Kenzo left especially with them being shut down immediately. Kenzo was falling off anyway. Okawa meets those old 10 year old memories I had at Kenzo: decent sushi, kpop music, and no frills eating experience. I just wish there was a sushi bar to sit at.
Bring hungry friends.
Thanks Bridget for noticing my dropped chopsticks.

We started coming here several weeks ago and since then we’ve been here 3 times! We go on Sunday for lunch right when it opens and do the premium AYCE. Everything was freshly made. The sashimi had good taste (not fishy or old) and the hot food was crispy and warm. I especially loved the hamachi collar which is included in the price! You are also allowed one order of sashimi per person. Portions sizes were perfect so that we could have a taste of everything and not be overwhelmed. The hand rolls aren’t really what you think it would be. They look more like sushi tacos but we didn’t mind since it was packed with fish. Some unusual items we don’t normally see at other AYCE places were the fried soft shell crab and fried oysters.
For us, the service was awesome at the time and quick. We would be full in less than an hour!

The nigiri and hand rolls were amazing. But the special rolls left a lot to be desired. Service could have been better, would prefer if they adopted a sheet or tablet for all you can orders like other places.

Took my parents and girlfriend. We loved it, got the all you can eat that let's you order everything. It was good, my parents loved the mussels, and cooked items, dad more adventurous tried some of the raw fish and like it .. me and my lady hammed on everything... Multiple times, my mother kept saying she was full, but enjoyed more food. We left full and happy, were treated really well by the staff, good came out in a timely manner, the cold was cold, the hot was hot, the beers were ice cold ... Will definitely come again...

The restaurant itself looked really nice and clean however the staff barely checked up on us the entire time and spent more time just talking in the kitchen. Also for the price of the rolls, they were plated and looked completely different from the images on the menu and much thinner.
