Happen to walk by this place while searching for food and I figure "hey. Why not." went in and the menu on the board seems limited. There was a roast beef rice bowl that initially ordered but there was a bigger menu when you get to the counter. I changed my order from the roast beef to the gyu don and that was the right call. Gyudon was very tasty and it paired well with the rice. Came in a bento box so the presentation looked good. Came with an extra egg, salad, potato...
Very good, authentic Japanese bento boxes. The food is clean, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Katsu don and unagi are highly recommended. Pricing is fair for Bay Area standards.
I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I must say the service is always great and they keep the place neat consistently. Prices are reasonable and they serve large portions.
