For the price of it, it’s not worth it. The place itself looks nice. Service is okay. The food is very low quality. Some of the pieces were yellow after cooking.

We went during weekday dinner. We got the bbq and hot pot combination, which we pay $5 or $6 more. If you choose one then it only $32.99.

The food quality is cheap but you still have many options to choose from so you could still fill your stomach. Some of the items that came on the belt were still frozen and you only get one or two. They are more generous with the vegetables. However, the foods on the belt can be limited to certain items then you have to wait a while before different foods would be put out.

We are seated pretty fast when we go there. However, once we put in our first order, the server took a very longer time to come back for our next orders for meats, which why the hot pot helps because you could get food from the belts while you wait. They also don’t change the bbq stove plate frequently.

The neon sign was the worst thing they could have done. As others have mentioned, you could not tell if you meats were cook or not from the light. It was very loud and noisy so it hard to hear what the other party are saying unless you seated next to each other or talks louder.

Kid-friendliness: They have a train that carry the order to your table so it would be fun for kids to watch.

Good alternative to Seapot if you're in the Milpitas area. They have precooked food including pot stickers, fried chicken, garlic noodles, french fries, and fried rice.

Sauce section is a bit lacking compared with other hot pot places like needing more red peppers and some Chinese chilies.

I got spicy level of spicy oil broth and it had a good kick. Meat quality felt a bit better than Seapot. They could use some more selection of fish balls like the fuzhou fish balls which have a filling inside. Would likely return it I'm in the area again. Price was $32.99 ayce hot pot only and KBBQ was a extra $5-6 (I forget).

Sadly, this was the worst restaurant I've been to in awhile. It really ruined my night, and I couldn't believe how bad it was in terms of food quality, service, and ambiance. Let me tell you the things we experienced so that you don't have to:Food Quality- The BBQ meat is so extremely low quality. Some thicker beef pieces were SO chewy it was unbelievable I was being served this at a restaurant. It's like pieces of meat you'd serve your dog. Also, everything was far too fatty.- The food items on the conveyer belt did not look appetizing. They were not covered, so it doesn't feel like they are clean. There are many raw seafood items on it as well. I tried some sausages that were on there, but they tasted so gross and fatty and just not like real meat.ServiceWhile servers were nice, they were clearly untrained and not experienced for this level of customers. Even though it was AYCE, we could only manage to get our meat orders in twice. The first time, they weren't even the items we ordered. We did both hot pot and bbq and this is what we experienced:- no one ever explained the menu or what to do, apparently you turn on your own grill and hot pots, you grab your own cooking utensils somewhere, there's an area for some food items and sauces. I figured this out by watching other people grab their stuff. I also didn't know what sides you could order with your server, like you could order rice, but what else? I see some photos of instant ramen, but I never knew they had that.- took over 25 minutes to get our hot pot soups. So we were just sitting there forever with our meats and we don't even know what meat items are which since it gets delivered on the conveyer belt and no one tells you. Some of the trays say for hot pot, so we grilled the one that didn't, but that ended up being lamb, and lamb is only on their hot pot menu...- when they did finally bring our soups, it was the wrong one! I was so tired of waiting I just didn't even tell them. It was really upsetting.- The ambiance is terrible, it is so loud and the servers are running around with multiple hot pot soups on trays and it feels so hectic. If I was ever able to flag down a server (one time) and ask if I can order, they hesitate and act like they're looking for someone else and they will quickly take my order. It never came by the way. Another server noticed me just sitting there wit an upset face and they rushed an order for me another 20 minutes later. It was just so awful, I felt terrible for suggesting this restaurant to my boyfriend. Paying $100 for this really felt like I was robbed and I couldn't believe how awful everything was. You can come here if you feel like wasting time and your money, and having terrible food.

I recently dined at Ox Pot, and it was an incredible experience! This all-you-can-eat hotpot and Korean BBQ restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The variety of fresh ingredients and flavorful broths made the hotpot an absolute delight. The Korean BBQ was equally impressive, with high-quality meats and a range of delicious marinades. The ambiance was vibrant and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends or family. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great meal.If you're looking for a place to indulge in unlimited hotpot and Korean BBQ, Ox Pot is the place to be. Highly recommended!

GOOD service, HORRIBLE food, POOR value for money.Service was good. They were crowded on a Friday night, but the waitress still served with a smile. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing about the place. The place was decorated with neon lights. We were sitting under a red neon light and couldn't even tell if the meat was raw or cooked, because it always looked red due to the lighting. It was also quite smokey because of the BBQ.I liked the train and rotating belt system. However, that is where everything starts going downhill. Food quality was POOR. We were served cheap cuts of tough meat. We added $6 per person for the wagyu meat and it was TOUGH and CHEWY. It was NOT "wagyu" at all. We felt cheated. We had four people in our group, but each meat serving was 1-3 small thin slices or very tiny little cubes. It was also not seasoned properly. Some of them tasted really bloody too. The wagyu meat had no marbling. Neither did all the other cuts of meat. It was dry, chewy, and hard. Definitely a very cheap cut of low quality meat. Each serving was also very tiny, which was a good thing because it was of very bad quality. (See my photos of the poor quality wagyu with hardly any marbling.)The other dishes were supposed to be on the rotating belt. However, only 25% of the dishes were on the belt. What happened to the shrimp, tripe, squid, enoki mushroom, beef tendon, clams, duck, fish, lotus root? All that was on the belt was a constant flow of wilted green vegetables, some tofu, spam, and occasionally a meatball or two. Each tapas plate was small. When a shrimp dish finally arrived, there was only one platter with 1 1/4 pieces of shrimp. How do 4 of us split 1 1/4 pieces of shrimp? (See photos of the almost empty rotating belt with mostly green leafy vegetables only)Don't list the food on the menu if you were not going to serve it. It was a crowded restaurant but where was the food on the rotating belt?Other side dishes included fried noodles, fried rice, and really lousy dry pot stickers.I understand that the owner is trying to maximize his profits at the expense of food quality, but that's not how you do business. Most people will come try it out the first time, and will never come back. This restaurant is easily one of the worst kBBQ / hotpot AYCE place in the Bay Area. Unless the food quality improves, I'll never ever return.
