I’m from Virginia, and I must say the Bay Area has us beat in terms of pho options! Both their chicken and beef pho broth is excellent, but the standout is the bun bo hue!! You will not regret giving this place a try. The restaurant itself is nice and clean and the owner was very attentive and friendly. Will be back again the next time I’m in the area.

I got surprised by the size of the bowl for the money I spent. It was like the kid’s manual. The same money I spent at this place I can get bigger bowl and more meat at other place. The meat balls taste the worst in my entire pho experience. We ordered drink never came but it showed on the bill.

This place is superrrr good. We had 9 people in our group and everyone loved the food. The fried chicken egg noodle (dry style) is delicious. Bun Bo Hue is very flavorful. And the owner is very friendly 🤣 We had a fun talk.
Anyway I ended up eating all my food before taking pictures, so I took a pic of the poster on the wall. 😂 But really, the food is 🤌🤌🤌

Delicious and kind of expensive, but what do you expect for the Bay Area? They offer a cash discount though.
Overall I’m just happy to have such a good pho place in the area.

This pho place is a true gem! The owner is incredibly welcoming and provides personal attention, making every visit feel special. As a vegetarian family, we asked for a custom veggie pho, and he didn’t disappoint—serving us the most flavorful, rich broth with fresh, vibrant vegetables. We've been regulars since the opening and continue to be impressed by both the outstanding food and exceptional service. If you’re looking for delicious pho with a warm, friendly atmosphere, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommended!

pho & bun is my FAVORITE pho spot that I visit at least once a week. The food always slaps. Me and the bf usually get number 3 and number 15 (the garlic chicken is amazingggggg 10/10 rec). The ambiance is always nice and the owner is wonderful. The owner is really passionate about his job and you can tell he cares about his customers. This place is a hidden gem!!!

Hole in the wall pho and bun bo hue spot!!
Got the #1 pho and #11 bun bo hue and both were one of the best I've had in the bay area. The staff is very nice and service was amazing! Food came out fast and the Vietnamese iced coffee, calamansi drink, and sugarcane juice were all good! I recommend the fresh sugarcane drink. It's not the frozen stuff you usually get from other places.
Will definitely be making this my go to spot in the East Bay for Pho and Bun Bo Hue. Both soups were light but flavorful and the pho came with giant ribs!

Found myself here at pho and bun since my favorite viet spot is closed. Ordered a number 4. This place is definitely quality over quantity. The meat is succulent and delicious. The beef was amazing, broth was clean. However the noodle portions were very small. A quaint restaurant, with a cute atmosphere; good for a date. I paid 24.00$ with a tip for my 1 dish. Great little find. Also the chili is potent.
The pho is good, with a comforting broth that hits the spot. The Vietnamese coffee is also good, though the portion feels a bit small and has a lot of ice, small cup, lots of ice, not really worth it in my opinion . As for the special pho with the rib, it’s tasty but could benefit from more tender meat. The rib was a bit tough, and there were small bones that made chewing a bit challenging. Overall, it’s a satisfying experience, but there’s room for improvement.
Very fast and efficient service! Their chili oil is homemade. Decadent!
Best Pho ever! Great service. The beef pho (house special) has plenty of meat. It’s a small place, but the ambience is great as the owner welcomes the customers personally. The spring rolls with shrimps were so fresh and delicious. This place is HIGHLY recommendable. Definitely coming here again..
