Solid 4 starts. Nothing extraordinary, but no negative experience either. Service was actually pretty good.

The Shrimps Scampi is small too salty for me. It doesn't goes well with the baked potato. The Flatbread is not good at all.

Learned that the chain is closing down for good, but everything else was fine.

I recently visited Red Lobster for the first time and opted for the "Create Your Own Ultimate Feast" ($47.99), which allows you to choose two premium selections and two classic selections.

The meal started off well with complimentary cheese biscuits, which were warm and flavourful. However, I found the texture to be a bit doughy.

For our premium selections, we chose grilled sea scallops and a main lobster tail. The scallops were cooked well and had a nice flavour, but the lobster tail seemed a bit less succulent. While there was no fishy smell, it didn't have the fresh-from-the-sea taste I expected.

As for the classic selections, we went with garlic shrimp and shrimp linguine alfredo. The garlic shrimp was excellent, with a bold garlic flavour. However, the shrimp linguine was a bit disappointing, with a bland Alfredo sauce.

We also ordered brussel sprouts and mac and cheese with bacon as sides. The brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly, with a crispy exterior and tender interior. They were delicious with the sweet sauce. The mac and cheese had a nice smokey flavour.

The service was generally good, although it was sometimes difficult to find a server in the large dining room.
Overall, Red Lobster was a mixed bag. While some dishes were excellent, others were disappointing. I would likely return for the brussel sprouts and garlic shrimp, but I would be hesitant to try the shrimp linguine or the lobster tail again.

Food is really expensive. Shrimp scampi was over done and broccoli was over salted. Biscuits were delicious.

Unfortunately, I can’t say this was the best dining experience. The sides were actually the best part of the food. The cheddar biscuits (obviously) and lobster topped mashed potatoes were great. The fish and chips? They were decent. The lobster linguini? Not much flavor at all.

The staff wasn’t very attentive, and the music in the restaurant was the worst of the top hits kind of stuff… Kind of would have preferred silence while I ate to be honest…

I’d go back and order some different stuff, but can’t say I was impressed this time around.

A very good place to enjoy freshly caught and prepared lobster. There is also other seafood to enjoy. It's best to go out and enjoy dinner with your girlfriend, friends or colleagues. Fast and good service.

Food was really good. Love the crab. They were kinda slow for as late as we ate, after 9 p.m. Wish we had one closer to home. This Red Lobster is an hour from home.

The floor, chair, table, and windows were dirty. It makes me very sad that this restaurant that we have visited for decades is in decline, and they did not have some of the products that we ordered.

I recently dined at Red Lobster, hoping for a delightful seafood feast, but my experience was anything but satisfying. We ordered a variety of shrimp dishes, shrimp pasta, mashed potatoes, lobster, and rice, expecting a delicious meal worth the high prices. Unfortunately, the food quality did not justify the cost. The shrimp dishes were bland, the pasta was overcooked, and the lobster was underwhelming.

Adding to the disappointment was the poor service. Our waiter was extremely rude and abrupt throughout our meal. To make matters worse, he left us a cake for a special occasion but didn't bother to light the candle or sing, unlike what we observed at other tables. His bad attitude left a sour taste in our mouths.

Overall, the dining experience was far from what we expected, given the prices. I would not recommend Red Lobster based on this visit and will be looking elsewhere for my seafood cravings in the future.
