It’s annoying they don’t pick up the call. I called on working day between 12:30-1:30 several times to ask few details about the menu, as I was planning to dine in

affordable thaalis, langar esq, freshly baked rotis. but i hope they had a sabjee dish and not everything on their online menu was served. but overall pretty good experience specially the chaas they serve.

Disappointing Experience at Royal Thali Hotel

I recently visited Royal Thali Hotel for a pickup order, but the experience was marred by extremely poor customer service. The staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to customers. Despite waiting, they didn't prioritize packing my order. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, it fell on deaf ears.

In a service industry, customer satisfaction should be paramount. Unfortunately, Royal Thali Hotel's staff seemed indifferent to customer needs. I hope the management takes note of this and takes corrective measures to improve their service standards.

I loved the thali here! The food is so fresh and simply delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wholesome and tasty meal.

Visited here for lunch. They have unlimited thali. Thali menu changes based on day. We visited on Tuesday, thali had paneer tikka masala, gobi sabzi, aloo fry, cutlet, gajar ka halva, daal, rice, chapati and Poori. Chaas was also part of thali. All items is thali were tasty. Chapati and poor is were fresh. Definitely revisiting this place.

We stopped by for Father’s Day. It tends to get extremely busy so anticipate wait times.
However, their food is excellent. A perfect balance of flavor and the plate all comes together. Some of the highlights were, shahi aam, chaas, gatte ki sabji, paneer, makana sabji. The chapati and even the puris never expected to blend in so well with over all kadhi and dal. Just show some patience as it is a super busy and tight run show.

Super delicious Gujarati Thali on Saturdays! I was pleasantly surprised by how authentic and tasty each item was. Good food, friendly and attentive staff. It is a small space so it can get a bit loud and cramped during busy meal times but the food is totally worth it.

The Shiny Dog

Excellent thali (platter of a wholesome Indian meal, like a buffet). The food itself is really really good, and the staff does a good job with the limitations (i.e. space is too small, for a place that serves "unlimited" food) That being said, they seem to be understaffed for the experience they're trying to deliver.

Other reviews talk about the wait time between the different food items you're being served i.e. your curry and lentils get cold while you wait for the bread to be served. The 2nd helping of something you really enjoyed might take a long, really long time before you get it. So you might have built up an appetite to come and fully enjoy the "unlimited" thali...but make sure you come with unlimited patience as well.

We never got our chutneys that we asked for thrice. There wasn't any water served eithet. They seemed to be hesitant to repeat portions of certain things, although I don't think that was intentional... but perception becomes reality. Again, overworked, understaffed possibly.

Taking this into consideration, it feels a bit pricey to have a $25+ thali which you are unable to fully enjoy and feel welcome! All easy things to fix - you certainly have great food. Hope you all do. Thank you Royal Thaali - we might see you again!

Disappointing Experience – Greedy Ownership Ruining the thali

This was my second visit to this buffet after about a year, and I must say, the experience has declined significantly. It seems the owner has become quite greedy, trying to prevent guests from enjoying a full meal.

Missing Items: Despite being on the menu, I was never served the gulab jamun or moong pakodi. I only received the gulab jamun after asking for it, but that was after I had finished my entire thali. I saw the moong pakodi on one of the serving plates, but it was never offered to me, and I didn’t feel like asking for it.

Mediocre Food: Usually in thali, out of all the dishes, you might find atlest one or two tasty. However, all the food lacked flavor and bland, almost as if they were trying to discourage people from eating more. Bati was hard. gatte was hard. dal was totally bland. kachori was uncooked.

Refills: If you want a refill, be prepared to struggle. You have to call the servers, who will actively avoid eye contact, making it difficult to get additional servings of anything.

In conclusion, it’s obvious the owner has given instructions to the staff to limit how much customers eat, but what they’re forgetting is that unsatisfied customers won’t return.
