All you can eat hot pot for $30 is a good deal, but they cut the meat thin like deli meat.
Definitely my first time here as I am from Oregon. Me and my son decided to experience something new. Took us out of our comfort zone, but to a good level. This place is considered buffet with allowed 90 minutes eating time for price.

This has been my fav place for more than a year! Visited here multiple times and love love it! They have the best fried tofu and vegetarian options. Very courteous staff and healthy fresh 🥘 food!

They have poor service, and the people who work there are not professional. They need more training and how to talk to customers.
Im not going back to this restaurant

I can’t believe I spent my money and time there. The food is completely without flavor, the seafood was dirty and they not even asked why we were leaving after being there for 10 min. Definitely my worst experience.

Food is not good. Meat is soooooo thin. Other places are better. They also kicked us out after 1.5 hours even though it was empty inside

After our morning training presentation, a colleague suggested hot pot for lunch in Milpitas on a very warm summer day. I was skeptical. When we arrived there was a crowd of people in front of Shabuya. We added our name on the waitlist tablet and thought we'd be waiting for awhile. However, when we walked inside the place wasn't crowded at all and our group of 5 was seated right away. At about 12:30-1:00pm, the place did fill up fast. We were seated at a long table. The servers, all dressed in black were constantly on the move, taking orders, refilling our bowls, refreshing the condiment station, and checking on tables. We ordered the miso & spicy miso soup (gluten-free and most popular broths). Our protein of choice was steak. Then we walked to the condiment station: veggies, some seafood, tofu, all kinds of sauces, and different noodles. They even had rice noodles (yes GF!) Then you put everything into the the bowl of broth simmering on a hot plate. Soooooo dee-licious. My skepticism was abated. I ordered a 2nd refill; apparently it's all you can eat (like $20 per person). However, you have to eat all your proteins that you requested or you'll be charged (don't waste food!) I usually avoid hot pot places because the broth doesn't taste good or not enough choices to fill your bowl or it's expensive. But for Shabuya, I will drive all the way to Milpitas for their food, clean restaurant, and attentive service!

Stopped by at 11:20am (opens at 11:30am) to sign up for the waitlist but there were already 4 groups waiting ..
Food: not sure about dinner/weekend, but limited toppings for lunch. For $21 I couldn’t ask for more. Very good for the price.
Service: quick and amazing.
Atmosphere: will get crowded fast during lunch hours. A bit of chaos but manageable.

Extremely disappointing experience.
We had dinner at Shabuya in Milpitas, and the service was absolutely terrible. The manager (Asian looks, and female) was extremely rude, inattentive, and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we sat down. She seemed irritated when we asked questions, barely checked on our table, and acted like we were an inconvenience.
We had funny and beautiful day today, until we met the manager in Shabuya who ruined everything.
We came expecting a good meal and a decent dining experience, but the attitude and lack of basic courtesy from the staff ruined it. For a restaurant that charges premium prices, the service should at least be respectful.
We won’t be coming back for ever, and definitely do not recommend this place unless management seriously improves how customers are treated.
And the last but not the least, we paid ZERO tips, who deserves this.
