Food has really down hill. The menu items shrunk and the meat is paper thin. The service took forever to serve our table. They did not provide us any boosters and high chairs after confirming with the host of our party with children.

The service is terrible here, do not come here, they took my food while I was still eating and didn't ask if I was finished. the restaurant was not busy, they still rush customers.We asked for the manager but the employee refused to get the managerJapanese-style hot pot. It’s not very busy at this time. The dining time is limited to one and a half hours. We haven’t finished eating yet. Without even asking, the waiter reached out and poured the small hot pot in front of me into the kitchen waste bucket without even asking. Asked, very rude, asked him to call the manager out. The waiter said that the manager was very aggressive and did not help us deal with the problem. The handling attitude was very unfriendly.

Went for lunch with a friend today. We didn't have to wait for a table but the restaurant was packed. It wasn't too noisy except for when the tables on both sides of us talked to each other in really loud voices. The service was excellent and the food was very good. You can eat as much as you want. ?
This location is amazing! We have also been to the one in Honolulu and this one has much better food quality! We can’t wait to go back.

This place has a major hygiene problem. The bathroom was in complete disarray with toilet paper rolls on the floor, dirty floor, and no paper towels. Keep in mind the restaurant wasn’t busy and the place had an adequate amount of staff to maintain the cleanliness.The atmosphere seemed super rushed and there was a lack of genuine care in the service and care for food in general. The staff frequently refilled the food in the salad bar but I noticed when they poured the new batch of food in, they use their hands to scrape everything off the carton. They were wearing gloves but what use is it if the same gloves touched the cart that carried the food and could have easily cross contaminated. Granted the food in the salad bar ended up being cooked but it really makes you feel like you are in some market and ruins the ambiance.Upon cleaning up our table, the staff was pretty abrasive with the cleaning, splashing soup on the table, spilling it on our belonging. The staff lacked proper etiquette in general.As for the food, the meat slices were really thin. You’re not getting much out of it.

Food 2.5/5 - it wasn't the greatest but if you absolutely want shabu and you're in the area it's fine. They change their sides depending on the seasons. All the broths are pretty bland and the bar table has a lot of cross contaminationsService 1/5 our host Brian is an extremely rude bus boy. I'm surprised he even works for service. Very passive aggressive and acts like a tough guy. He yelled at my party for coming in asking how much longer. The previous waitress told us they are currently cleaning our table and when we asked if the table is clean yet. He yelled at us to wait outside and stop coming back inside. He acts very tough at his workplace. Most likely compensating for other issues... Brian if you're reading this. Be better.. no, be best!Ambiance is 3/5 open floor plan and nothing to talk about besides making all of their guest wait outside. There is no waiting area.I would 100% not recommend this place.

There wasn't as much food as I expected, but it was satisfactory.However, it was too hectic... It wasn't busy when I went, but there seemed to be a lot of staff, but the food delivery area wasn't organized and didn't look clean. That's why I gave it about 4 stars...

First of all, the foods were food. Our waiter was excellent (friendly and visited our table often).What got it one star review is because of a stupid guy manager (the young one with big axx earrings and act like a thug) being VERY rude when our 1.5 hrs time was up. We had a party of 12 people with 2 of them came in about 15-20 minutes late due to traffic on Friday evening. While we all understood that we needed to finish and leave after 1h30 mins allowed slot, the behavior of the rude manager is unacceptable for this type of dinning. He literally picked up both pots (from the late arrival 2 guests) and dumped into a trash can while the guests were still trying to finish!! We were all shocked! There is better way to tell the guests to leave. We are not beggars and definitely not greedy types.From reading othe post, it looks like this is how their managers were told to do when the time is up (another post talked about a woman manager named Mary).We are sure not going to return to this place. Also, we will let all other friends and relatives or whomever we have a chance to talk to about this rude behavior of this restaurant. This will become our favorite small talk for some time....

Place was usually busy as expected per reviews. To top it off it was Valentine’s Day and we gladly accepted the estimated time of seating at roughly 50 min. During that time our time changed twice, with the hostess telling us that it would be an additional 20 min. Not a problem, we were expecting this long wait time. At this point it already seemed as the hostess (found out it was the manager) was almost discouraging us to stay and wait.Service was decent, but out of the blue we were told we had 5 min left and we had to leave exactly at that time. We were shocked and felt immediately rushed, we asked if there was a time limit and were told there is a strict 1:30 min limit. We rushed to check our seating time and found discrepancies from when we were seated to when our bill started.We asked to speak to the manager and a shorter Asian woman named “Mary” arrived at our table. Let me tell you she had the worst attitude and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She gave smart remarks and assured us our time was over and we HAD to leave. She is extremely rude and a bad representation to the restaurant, giving us a “whatever” response.Please stay away, and read the other negative reviews that match mine. I will be reaching out to the “Octopus Restaurant Group” and sharing my experience with the disgrace of a manager “Mary”.Parking: A little crowded.

It is a nice hot pot restaurant to enjoy with friends or family. It was crowded at the time I was there. I like their service because it was very quick. They brought food and drinks to your table right after you ordered. They also came back to check ensure you needed anything. Overall, it is good a restaurant to enjoy hot pot.
