Sheng Kee Bakery #6 - Milpitas

Great buns and desserts. Terrible customer service. They didn’t ring up a few of my items, then after I paid I noticed they didn’t bag those things. They then said I couldn’t get those things on their own because they didn’t add up to the $10 credit card minimum, despite it being their mistake.

Customers cant use the bathroom. No drinking water. Food is oily, cold, and some r just dry.
Look at all the moisture on glass with the cakes.

Agree with a previous reiview "Not good staff old women."
Avoid this store at ALL cost.
I'd go the nearby 85C or 99Ranch.

Never come to this store again. I don’t know why the staff exchange one cupcake for me. And the changed one is spoiled. Not good staff old women,

Childhood memory!

Many of us grew up eating Sheng Kee. There is a lot more variety than what was on the shelf 20-25 years ago, but the quality is kept up as always.

Highly recommend the cheese bread, red bean bun, matcha bun, and all kinds of mooncakes (red bean filling is my fav).

Five pastries plus a small bag of cookies cost $20.

Please consider opening up a shop or two in SoCal. LA and OC need some love from Sheng Kee!

Only deal with the cashier, she's super rude. Didn't tape the pastries for us.
I complaint that I was mislead and overcharged, instead of fixing the price, she returned the whole thing, took everything out of the bag and rang me up from the beginning then she just left everything there without bagging them.
Never coming back here.
If you don't like your job, quit.

I wanted to try this place to see if it was similar to other popular bakeries. It was near where I was visiting too. It was actually pretty good. I'm so glad I tried this place out. I bought the custard tart, Hawaiian ham and cheese bun, pineapple custard toast, pineapple custard bun, pineapple taro bun, hot dog cheese bun, cream bun, hot dog onion roll, porksung and corn roll, and lemon balls. I'll definitely be back for more.

I was like ma'am are you serious? I've never seen a counterfeit that someone would use in a bakery. Don't act like i can't afford to pay or something. Would never go back
