We experienced the bay area's best Onam Sadhya at Sinoy's Kitchen. All of the 23 items were delicious and tasted authentic. This is the best traditional Kerala food in town. We preordered the meals via their website and picked from the restaurant. If you ordered individually per person, the meal comes in it's own box. Our family pack for 4 came in a large box with each items in a 24 oz container. A paper banana leaf was provided for all. Traditional matta rice was provided in the feast. The food wasn't spicy at all, which is great and flavors are well balanced. Only one papadam per person isn't sufficient. So, I suggest them to provide at least four papadams. The service was very courteous and they always carried a smile. The interior was decorated with decals of Kerala buses giving a nostalgic vibe. Credit card and mobile payments like Apple Pay and Google Wallet are accepted. Plenty of parking available. I would definitely buy their food again the next time.

We ordered 2 Sadyas and were extremely pleased with the taste and quality of their offerings. Except for the suggestion that the quantity of sambar be a bit larger for an order of 2# since it is a main item I can only give a glowing…..no….,a “on fire” review. The order placement was a bit glitchy but they made up for that with the seamless packaging and pick up process! We could feel the love, pride and passion in the energy they put into the food. My extended family visiting from Kerala were very impressed and we enjoyed an amazing Onam Thanks to Sinoy n team! This was my first time ordering from here n I’m so glad I took a chance. Can’t wait to try everything else they offer! Thank you Sinoy’s kitchen! Hope the tradition of yummy food made with love n passion never changes for the sake of us Mallu food lovers!! Happy Onam to all of you!

Had an Onam Sadhya from here and loved it! The flavors were authentic and most of the curries tasted just like what we get back home in Kerala. A wonderful experience!

Old review

Tried porotta pollichathu
Had to go to local saw mill to cut the poratta, not fluffy and fresh I would say l.when you go to a Kerala restaurant and order porotta, you expect to me fluffy and soft . Such a disappointment

Went there for first time , no seating arrangement got in dine

You have to order online even if you are there at restaurant

Ordered the Instant Onam Sadya from here 3 times in a year now and this tells how delicious the food is for those who are missing the Onam Festivities. Love it. Shinoy is a true gentleman too whenever we reach out to him. He was also kind enough to share some extra payasam for us. Check out the video posted for your visual.

Onam sadya had a lot of items, but nothing stood out. Every dish was mediocre at best.

My husband and I recently discovered this gem in Milpitas and and we were eagerly anticipating the weekend menu, especially with its enticing variety of fish options.. Let me tell you, the weekend menu did not disappoint! We decided to try out every single one of their fish items - Fish curry, Fish Masala, Shrimp roast, and the Fish Biryani. Trust me when I say that both the food and the warm hospitality of the wonderful folks at Sinoy's Kitchen deserve the highest praise. The menu offers an extensive selection of traditional Kerala delicacies, and is prepared with utmost care and authenticity, that transports you back to the comfort of your Malayali home :)Every dish was bursting with flavors and were finger-licking yummy. It is difficult to pick which of the four fish dishes I enjoyed the most. The Fish Biryani and the Shrimp roast were definite highlights, while the fish curry paired with kappa was also exceptional. The prices were reasonable considering the quality, portion sizes and the authenticity of the dishes. It was also a pleasure meeting Sinoy himself and experiencing the hospitality of those at Sinoy's kitchen.Highly recommend the place whether you are a fan of Kerala food or someone curious and wants to explore, this is a must-visit.

One of our favorite places for kerala food items. We absolutely love the Kerala Tea Snacks. The Pazhampori, Parippu Vada, Unda etc are even better than the ones we get back in Kerala. A must try for anyone who wanted to get a taste of Kerala Tea Shops.
