A hidden gem in town that offers great food with good portions. We came here for the highly rated crispy pork, which is sweet and tangy, but we’re impressed with how good everything is. The spareribs, braised pork belly and pork feet were all amazing and flavorful. I love how they’re rich in flavor. Definitely a great place to come back to.
We came to Yuan Bistro on a friend’s recommendation and were so impressed! The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavors that reminded us of home. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, from the perfectly seasoned stir-fries to the comforting soups.

If you’re in the Bay Area, Yuan Bistro is a must-try for traditional Northeastern Chinese dishes! The Guo Bao Rou is freshly fried with a perfect balance of sweet and sour, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Suan Cai Yu is tangy and fresh, with black fish, tofu, and vermicelli in a delicious broth. Highly recommend the sweet potato leaves and spicy chicken cartilage too. Authentic and delicious!
