We only came once but, they had vary unique ice cream flavors. It was empty and even the worker went to back after we got our order so felt vary strange.

Pricey for the amount of ice cream they give you - $9 for 2 flavors.

I would come back for the black sesame brittle ice cream though - I'm normally not a fan of black sesame but theirs was really good!

Lavender honey blueberry was a bit too sweet.

If you coming here, you should absolutely be getting the alcohol-laced Henny Penny ice cream flavor (if you're over 21), which is unique. Otherwise, just know that the ice cream selection is on the small side.

Finally got to try this place out. The flavors we tried were tasty and the quality is good. The price a bit high, $6 for small scoops.
The not so good was the inconsistent scoop size, mine was itty bitty under the cup level and noticeably smaller than the others which was disappointing. And the service can be improved. The two young girls were very low energy and not welcoming. One simply did not speak the entire time even as I greeted her and was asking her questions, she simply pointed in the direction of things. Hopefully staff can undergo more training. 08/29/25

I recently tried Sugar MaMa had a great experience!

The flavors are creative and change seasonally and everything tastes fresh and homemade. You can really tell they care about quality ingredients.

The staff was so kind and patient while we tasted a few flavors.

maybe instead of having 9:30 as the closing time, change it to 9:00 or stop hiring high schoolers hahaha. we came at around 9:00 and the two young workers (one boy with dyed brown hair and braces, one girl with shortish black hair) were basically mute, gave us the tiniest scoops, and rudely/awkwardly eyed each other the entire time while we were present as if we were bothering them by being there for 2 minutes. we also spent basically $17 for $3 worth of ice cream. service wasn’t welcoming/adequate enough for us to come back again unfortunately

I had a great experience at this ice cream shop! The woman working there was super helpful and friendly. She took the time to explain all the flavors and even let me sample a few before deciding. Her positive attitude made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Very flavorful ice cream, reasonable prices, smaller shop and limited seating, lines move pretty quickly, reasonable selection and free tastes.

Had my first taste of this amazing ice cream at an ice cream social hosted by my building in SF. They are located in Milpitas but I had an errand in San Jose and made it a priority to stop here on my way home. Highly recommend these flavors: Fresh Guava, Dark Chocolate salted caramel and honey lavender blueberry...so many others are great and all really interesting flavors.

Excellent ice creams. I had the mango which was mind blowing. The sesame was amazing too. The Dubai chocolate flavor was below average and wouldn’t buy but the rest were all amazing.

My toddler said “It’s so yummy!”

Small shop but good ice cream and flavors!

They have a lot of eggless options too! Some of the ice creams with cookie/dough bits in them usually have egg however.

I was getting ice cream with my dad and LITTLE sibling and the scrawny gay Asian dude that works there gave my LITTLE sister a LARGE cup without her asking and he proceeded to give me I small cup. My dad asked him for a large cup and he gave me ANOTHER small cup because he couldn’t open his eyes and look. I then got in my dad’s truck and dropped one of the ice creams because I had to hold my phone and two small cups. Because he didn’t give me a large. I’m sorry that you wanted that ice cream for yourself because u want (need) to gain weight.
