Much better bento than I expected.
You get to choose the main skewer, rice and a side.

Payment terminal was a bit weird.
They say that occasionally master cards get rejected so I should use Visa card when using Apple Pay.

Wasn’t thrilled they asked for tip, but we have to bring everything to the table ourselves. I spilled my soup…

I’d recommend setting the tip recommendations to something like 3%, 5%, and 10%.

Poor experience to pay 15% tip and then have to pick up (and drop off!!) your own food

An ok place in my opinion. Nothing too special. Had a pork belly bento, could have been more flavorful. Especially for the price.

Straight forward walk up (order at the counter) place that serves Yakitori style bento. Select your protein (skewered meats, seafood or tofu), select your sides and rice.
Seating is basic cafeteria style and they will call out your number when your food is ready to pick up.
Our meats were on the salty side but tender.
Overall rather pedestrian, and probably best as a quick lunch option.

Food’s salty, and the rice seemed a day or two old. Miso smelled eggy. For some reason took too long for what was being ordered, should be pretty quick. I’d recommend they go and learn from chicken and rice restaurant. Expensive too even if you get a regular order.

Authentic Japanese touches: daikon oroshi with the saba, okra with the rice, style of tsukemono. The taste is also very good and grilling is to perfection: the saba, the beef, the pork belly all came out with just the right sear and crisp and soft juicy insides. The sides were all good: we got the saba and the nasu (eggplant). The ramen is very simple in a good way, not complicated or overly seasoned. Everything is balanced and refreshing. Highly recommended. More people should appreciate this quality you get for the price here!

Not a long wait. The skewers (pork belly) were good, as was the agedashi tofu appetizer.

Very solid bento at a reasonable price! I had chicken wings and chicken thighs - both pretty good. Appetizer (eggplant) and pickled veggies (cucumber?) tasty too. Staff very friendly :) I think the food quality here is as good as a lot pricier places like Enko.

Though limited option quality is good

The food was just ok, the miso soup was ice cold. It wasn't even slightly warm. You order at the counter and you clean off your own table but the tips start at 20%, not sure why since it operates like McDonalds.

Skewer bento. Skewers were nice and salty, agedashi tofu a nice palate cleanser. I would say the pork belly skewer was my favorite. One weird thing tho, the seat and table I was at was STICKY AS HELL! The surface was like a lint roller what's up with that

The taste and volume are perfect, and I'm sure Japanese people will be satisfied. I especially liked the way the rice was cooked and the fried chicken. The owner was also Japanese and seemed easy to interact with. I will go again!

I had the bento boxes, with different yakitoris, chicken, beef, pork, etc. They are excellent. You should eat there, since yakitori must be eaten while hot. Great service, and prices are very reasonable. Greatly recommended.
