The Bay View Golf Club offers an interesting layout with a fun and challenging course. The greens are in excellent shape, but the slopes can be punishing for golfers who struggle to control their shots. The course is not suitable for beginners, but experienced golfers can enjoy the challenge. The driving range is irons-only and exposed, while the short game practice area is decent. The course has nice views, but can be soggy at times. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the restaurant and bar are excellent. The course conditions are very good, with well-maintained fairways and real sand in the traps. While the hilly terrain can be difficult, the reasonable rate of $50 for 18 holes and a cart makes Bay View Golf Club a worthwhile play.
