This place is awesome but I think it closed for good?? Does anyone know? The last three times we tried to come eat here the restaurant was totally dark with a closed sign out front.

Solid four stars good food, prices reasonable. Place clean, service good.

Great quality fish. Unreal discount for quality sashimi and sushi. Everybody here treats the customer with highest quality in attention.

The best sushi in the area. Sushi is fresh and well made. Price is very good too! Staff are very nice too!

By far, the best Japanese restaurant in the Bay. I have a gluten allergy so my go to is the sashimi dinner, chirashi bowl and chicken karaage (no sauce, mayo on the side). I think they changed the chicken karaage recipe. Best I've had! Highly recommend! My family from out of town always wants to come here every time!

Best and most authentic sushi I've seen in Milpitas. Do not judge this book by its a cover. It is a small hole in the wall sushi restaurant, but offers great, delicious authentic cuisine that is worth a try. My favorite item at Sushi Kai are the 2-item bentos. The sashimi and salmon teriyaki are extremely fresh, and fit the taste of my palate. A total recommend.

Pretty good place, fish quality is very decent

Homely little mom and pop sushi restaurant run by a super friendly ojisan to obasan. They serve more traditional type of sushi (They have a bar seating and regular restaurant tables) plus other dishes too.

Service a little slow. Good rice and hamachi.

2.5stars , one of the few japanese-run restaurant in Milpitas . Unfortunately quality is just okay, ordered the deluxe sashimi combination dinner comes with 15pcs sashimi, the white tuna is " frozen" iced fish fresh from freezer , even wait 10mins still not good . Stay away dinner . Only come for lunch is okay , able to fill you up and good value .
Not sure why this place has 4.5 stars. They charge more for food, asked me if I wanted miso soup and (said yes as most places offer it for free) and got charged for it. Food was mediocre. Minimum $18 charge for credit card. Rather not come back here.

We came just after opening hoped for fresh sushi but everything was old... Please stay away if you want to get fresh fish

Great sushi spot! A little overpriced but the tradeoff is great food and better service. Definitely a place to bring a date.

A local authentic Japanese restaurant. My family have eaten here numbers times and each time has been a great experience. I ordered the sushi omakase the last meal and it did not disappoint. We'll be back for sure.
