No flavor at all in the vada pav. It used to be one of the best vada pav in the bay area but looks like something is changed now

They have degraded the quality of vada pav which used to be their best. No flavor no spice at all.

This place offers maharashtrian snacks . We ordered Pav Bhaaji and Vada Pav. We liked it. Vada in Vada pav looked fresh and not very oily. Pav bhaaji was also flavourful.
Parking and seating is tight.

piyush and buttermilk was good
vada pav was not that good, felt stale
Best taste
I’m frequent customer of swaraj, however recently I felt quality of bread in vada pav and misal pav has degraded (hard/stale pav) and also they changed the snacks/receipe of misal pav which is not same/up to the standard that swaraj used to have.
Also, efforts in making order by myself on the ipad is not smooth. So many mandatory steps.
I miss old taste and quality.

Best Bread Pattice ever. Also worth trying Kolkhapuri Chicken.
I’ve been visiting this place for a few years now, but the quality and experience have unfortunately gone downhill. We ordered the Vada Pav recently, and the bread felt stale — like it had been sitting around for a few days. What’s more frustrating is how the quantity of chutney has been shrinking steadily. At this point, it’s barely enough for even one Vada Pav, let alone the plate.
When we gave feedback, the staff was dismissive and suggested we pay extra instead of addressing the concern. It’s disappointing because just a few years ago, they used to offer at least 4x the amount of chutney compared to what they serve now — and it made a big difference.
Sad to see a place that once focused on quality and value now cutting corners and ignoring regular customers.
Absolutely love their kanda bhaji and bread pakoda.
Absolutely loved the Vada Pav and kanda Bhaji here! The flavors were spot on, and the quality was top-notch. The Misal Pav was good too, although I felt it could use a bit more salt to bring out the flavors. Overall, a great spot for Maharashtrian street food. Highly recommend the Vada Pav and Bhaji's !
Always love the Vada Pav, and Kolhapuri
