Me and my wife was on a road trip and found this Japanese gem in Milpitas. Food was yummy and staff were great. Our orders came in quick!

MAZESOBA is the best! It’s officially my favorite noodle spot. The noodles, toppings, and flavors are consistently perfect — highly recommend!

I love coming here.
We always get the karaage and calamari for appetizer and the Mazesoba and the Tokusei Tsukemen for main course.
The food is always good and always consistent.

I discovered a new ramen shop here and came with a friend to try it out. It was quite crowded and we had to queue, waiting about 10 minutes. The seating inside wasn’t cramped, the ramen was above average, and the service was great.

My family and I came here for Sunday lunch and were seated right away. Service was fine, but we felt the flavors were lacking, and the noodles were overpriced for what we got.

Yuzu Shio Ramen ($17): The broth was way too salty, so my mom had to add extra broth to dilute it. It also only came with one piece of tofu, which really didn't feel worth the price.

Tokyo Classic Aburasoba ($17): The sauce coated the noodles well and grew on me the more I ate. I love thick egg noodles, so this was right up my alley, and the bamboo had great flavor. The portion was much larger than the Yuzu Shio, and I even had leftovers. My only complaint was that it came with just one slice of meat. While I did enjoy it, I couldn't help but compare it to Menya Hanabi in LA, which still has the best mazesoba I've had.

Niku Spicy Ramen ($20): My brother ordered this one, which was actually my second choice.

Love the tsukemen

Not as good as the one in San Mateo. The soup cooled extremely quickly after it was brought out, and for most of the meal it was lukewarm or borderline cold.

I was initially super excited to hear Taishoken was opening a location in Milpitas as their San Mateo location is my favorite spot for ramen in the bay area. Something about the flavor and texture of the noodles is also different (worse) but can’t put my finger on it.

Ramen egg was not cooked as perfectly as their other location but this is a small issue.

We really love ramen, and Taishoken is one of my favorite spots in the Bay Area.
Their Maze Soba is amazing, the Chashu Bowl is delicious, and the Tokusei Tsukemen is super tasty.
They even have a kids’ menu, which is great!

On a Saturday afternoon, not full house, they will only give you one glass of water, and no refill. All tables around us has get refilled for more than one time. You really need more water for the salty soup ramen though, I even raised my hand and asked them, and no one noticed.

Came here with couple of friends for dinner. This place is in a parking lot that's packed espe on Friday evenings. It took us a good 15 mins to find parking waiting for people to leave so take note.

The restaurant does not have central AC so it was incredibly hot inside and the coolers weren't helpful. That takes away one star.

We got a bunch of different things:
5/5 Spicy ramen: It's average spice and very flavorful. The pork chasyu is amazing and pairs nicely.

2/5 Veg Ramen: It was a bit bland compared to the non veg variant.

5/5 Berry soda : This was great pairing.

5/5 Karage chicken : It was succulent juicy chicken pieces that were yummy.

Overall a very good place and would come back. Just be mindful of the crazy parking time, first time experiencing this!
