After a gut-busting lunch on a weekend afternoon at the all-you-can-eat shabu shabu next door, of course what comes to mind is gulping down some sweets at Tea Top. You get your usual variety of boba drinks that are just fine! So go ahead, do the hot pot next door and mozy on over here afterwards.
I came in on a Sunday afternoon and the 3 or 4 employees seemed busy making a lot of drinks (possibly a bulk order or just online orders), so I used to kiosk and ordered an alpine green milk tea with boba pearls, 80% sweetness, regular ice. My number was called and I was told they were out of boba :( and asked if I wanted to substitute a different topping, which I declined. Once the drink was ready, my number was called again. We stumbled upon this place by chance while browsing Google and were intrigued by its high ratings. Although I initially hoped to find strawberry matcha and smoothies, which they didn't offer, we decided to give their other drinks a try. And I'm so glad we did! The peach green tea was exceptional, with fresh, flavorful tea and perfectly sweet peach pieces. It was the ideal refreshment on a warm day. While my husband found his slushy not sweet enough, I enjoyed its flavor.
