We went for the Onam Sadhya. Hands down, they have got super authentic and tasty food. The pachadis hit the right spots, parpu, sambar and rasam couldn't get any better, poriyal was perfect too. Payasam was a bit sweet. Appalam and plantain chips(both jaggery and plain) add the right amount of crisp to the food. Food on the whole had mild spice levels. Service was prompt and staff catered all requests with a smile. Service definitely couldn't have gotten better. A great way to spend your Onam! And of course this is not a paid review.
Writing because they didn't accept tip and thought this could be a way of showing my appreciation.

Our go to Sunday brunch spot with quick service, delicious food, reasonable price.
We walked in today hoping for our usual South Indian style tiffin this Sunday but we were pleasantly surprised to know that they had their Onam sadya.
All of us enjoyed the sadya on a banana leaf (as per tradition) and left feeling satisfied. As a vegan, they made sure they served me with all the vegan only items on the sadya menu. Extra stars for their service today. Do not miss their sadya!

Was there for lunch on 8/13. Ordered a lunch thali and the kootu was salty, papad was sick oil smell with bitterness, rice was dry. Sambar and spicy gravy were really good.
Now the staff taking the order and serving food are the same- to get his attention to place order is difficult as he is constantly on phone wearing headphones looking down. Imagine complaining to cashier on the way out, he too is busy down with the phone even when customer is on checkout. Worst third staff with green t shirt watches news out loud in speaker with no courtesy to customers. Additionally next to check out bunch of people talking loud debating politics - seems to be owner ? I am baffled how they are even in business. This is my second time and I promised that I won’t return ever!

The food quality has significantly declined while prices have simultaneously risen. Our appetizers were greasy and bland, and we couldn't finish our main course not because of the portion size, but because it lacked flavor.

Good overall! Not too spicy. Veg pulao and paratta Kurma was good. Punugulu was crisy but OKish. Overall liked it. 2 people

This restaurant in Milpitas is a great place to dine, offering a spacious and comfortable setting with plenty of tables, making it ideal for both small and large groups. The ambiance is welcoming, and the layout allows for a relaxed dining experience without feeling crowded. The food is delicious, with a variety of flavorful dishes that cater to different tastes and preferences. What stands out most is the excellent value—the quality of the food you get for the price is impressive. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for anyone looking for good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and great prices.

One of the best Rava Masala dosas in the Bay Area. It usually takes longer to arrive at the table- so be prepared to wait for 15 minutes, meanwhile order the South Indian thali - and Noodles. Gives us Bengaluru vibes!

This place once used to be called as “Best vegetarian restaurant in Bay Area” is no more the same. I have been eating here for 4 years and in the past 1 year, every time I visit the food quality and taste has been below par. There is nothing special now to eat here. Tastes like a normal random Indian restaurant. Not coming here next time.
I ordered a filter coffee which tasted like a coffee powder mixed in just water. It was no where close to an authentic filter coffee. When complained about this, the person who served me told “Everyone is drinking the same”. Just because everyone drinks, it doesnt mean it’s good. They were not even ready to address the issue. Not even a single apology was given. The Dosai was ok. The chutneys were just close to ok.
After taking my 1st order, no one even came once to check if I wanted to order anything else. I had to call them and order.
I used to go here to just get their badam halwa. But i regret getting it yesterday. The taste and quality is definitely gone down and I could feel that in the first bite.

I have been eating in this restaurant for two years, but in the past 6 months, quality of food and service is too bad. I ordered filter coffee and when I got it, it was too diluted. Black coffee is thicker than the one that was served. When I said about this to the waiter, he was not even ready to address the issue. He was kind of rude and entitled. Save your time and money by not eating here. I will not visit this restaurant hereafter. Feeling sad to take this decision as this was one place I used to recommend all my friends who come to Bay Area. Hope it will go back to its good old days where food and service was good.

We ordered dosas and waited for 30 minutes when it was relatively less crowded. When asked the waiters showed their attitude. Horrible service. Quality of food is below average.
