I used to really love this place and would crave it often, but unfortunately, my experience this past Sunday was disappointing. They were out of rice noodles—which was a bummer, but I didn’t mind switching it up. I believe I ordered #17, the red soup with beef.

However, the vermicelli and egg noodles seemed undercooked, like they had just been tossed into the broth right before serving. Not even 10 minutes in, they had soaked up nearly all of the soup. I also received a chunk of beef that was entirely fat—it honestly made me gag. I was choked on the dryness as soon as I took my first sips, and no water was served on the spot when we sat down.

The ratio of noodles to broth was so off that I couldn’t finish the dish. I hate wasting food, but I came for the soup, and there was hardly any left to enjoy. Really hoping this was just an off day, because I used to love coming here. But I will be taking my business elsewhere.

TK Noodle in Milpitas is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic, comforting, and flavorful Vietnamese cuisine. Every visit here feels like a treat, and their dishes never disappoint. The broth in their noodle soups is incredibly rich and aromatic, clearly crafted with care and packed with bold flavors that make each bite irresistible.

The menu offers a great variety, but the classics like their beef noodle soup or pork and shrimp rice noodles are absolute must-tries. The noodles are perfectly cooked with just the right texture, and the fresh herbs and garnishes elevate the dish to perfection. Portion sizes are generous, and everything is served piping hot and beautifully presented.

The service is always quick and efficient, even during the busiest hours. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends and family.

TK Noodle is hands down one of the best places for Vietnamese comfort food in Milpitas. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Vietnamese cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more of their amazing dishes!

Super disappointed! I called and ordered ahead of time, they said it’d be ready in 10. I arrived in 20 and it wasn’t even acknowledged yet. That wasn’t a big deal, but when I went to pay, they charge extra for take out orders. And on top of that, they charge extra for card. Then they still ask for tip. And then on top of that!! When I got home.. they gave me the wrong soup! :( so disappointing

I've been going to TK noodles around the South Bay Area for over a decade and used to frequent the Milpitas TK Noodle when it was in a much larger building before it was forced to close during the Covid lockdowns. I was quite happy to see it reopen across the street in a much smaller location. But the food and personnel are the same, just great!

This is not some corporate owned restaurant. I believe it is family owned by ethnically Chinese immigrants who were forced to flee Vietnam with nothing when Saigon fell to the Communists. Through belief in the 'American Dream' and plenty of hard work they built their restaurant and then it was shut down due to needless government actions. In an iconic testament to entrepreneurial spirit they built it back and reopened when most restaurants never recovered.

It has risen from the ashes like a brilliant Phoenix. The prices are a bit higher than they had been as are all restaurant prices, but it's well worth spending your money here for the great food and the great people involved!

Came for lunch. Had to call for waiter multiple times just to get our order taken. Our waiter was extremely rude and inattentive. He kept speaking to us in Vietnamese when it was clear we could not understand him. We had to ask multiple times for water.

The food itself was mediocre at best, I ordered a #3 Combination Wonton Rice Stick soup. The broth was watery and not very flavorful, and the wontons were not fully cooked through and still cold in the center.

Would absolutely not recommend eating at this place.
