The self-service barbecue was a great experience with fresh ingredients and a fun atmosphere. The food was delicious and easy to prepare. Special thanks to the servers **Rico** and **Doony**—they were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made the whole experience even better.
Dined in on Saturday evening - table of 3. The restaurant has a 90-minute dining format with entrées arriving every 6 minutes. The food was absolutely delicious and I'd definitely return for it. However, the service fell short of expectations. Our server wasn't familiar with basic dietary restrictions - she thought mayo contained dairy and couldn't distinguish between soju and sake when asked. Worse still, she didn't bother checking with the kitchen or management....
My experience at Ushiya today with my parents was amazing, especially since they were back for thanksgiving, I had to treat them to a good meal. But this was a heavy credit due to our server Nathan as well, as he provided excellent service and was super friendly to us. Would 100% come back again!
