The man who took our order is so friendly! He recommended that I get the Yangnyum chicken to pair with steamed rice. The chicken was great and had the perfect kick to it, and it went perfectly with the steamed rice. My friend and I also got honey butter fries and they were delicious and crispy.

This place deserves way more 5 stars!! We walked in and we were the only ones there and I was pretty shocked. But the chicken wings have so much meat and is worth its price. They served us and were so kind. We ordered way too much and asked for to-go boxes and the manager came and packed it himself with such care. He was so sweet! Also, he even gave us some Welch's gummies as a treat when we left :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING!

The chicken and service at the Milpitas Von's was great! We got soy garlic and honey drums and wings, both so crispy and delicious! Also got the oven cooked chicken radish wrap dish, it was light and satisfying. The service at lunch time today was wonderful; the man working was prompt, kind, and joyful, and made sure we had everything we would need without us having to ask: chopsticks, gloves, extra napkins... A great lunch! I'll be back soon.

I was in town for a dentist appointment and wanted to eat something before my procedure since I knew I wouldn't be eating much afterward. I found a few options in the plaza but not all of them were open. I saw the sign for Vons and looked up their menu which looked really good! I've eaten at other similar Korean fried chicken restaurants (e.g. BonChon), and while they are good they are also pricey. There was a lunch special available so I decided to give that a try.I wasn't sure what kind of chicken to order, so the cashier, who I believe was the manager, ranked the most popular dishes and eventually recommended that I try the original since it was my first time there. But he also warned me that because everything is fresh, the food will take at least 20 minutes to cook. Since I was in no rush, I said it was fine. Another customer did walk in shortly after and wanted to order but did not have enough time so he was given a menu to hopefully order ahead next time. The food was served hot and fresh and while I chose mild, it was a little on the spicier side. But the chicken was crispy, the meat was juicy and delicious, the same with the fries. I also received a large portion of both so I wasn't even able to finish everything. The worker asked me how everything tasted and I gave him my compliments. He did mention how it's been a struggle because not everyone can wait that long for their food. There's a difference if a place is too busy and can't keep up with orders whereas, in this situation, they are focusing on quality and want to ensure that the food they provide is made to order and always fresh, which I commend them on.I sat at the restaurant for over an hour (working/waiting for the food, eating, and sitting). It wasn't until right before I left that another customer came in to pick up a food order. Growing up with parents that owned struggling restaurants, I couldn't help but feel for this one as well. I was there on a Tuesday, but the plaza itself doesn't seem to get too much foot traffic. I'm hoping this review will encourage others to have some patience and give Vons Chicken a chance!

I really enjoyed the flavours of this chicken, they were intense and delicious and didn't help that I was extremely hungry - I just went for it! We ordered the fried garlic, and crispy fried chicken lunch specials which came with sides, and small pots of picked radish which I really like, and water upon request. I specifically like the crunch on this Korean chicken and I like how you could choose which parts of the chicken to order. They also have oven chicken but I would say go for the OG fried version. The owner was really friendly and would come up to every table and ask how's the food and engage in really interesting conversation. He told us that flavours depend on the weather, so each taste is made to accommodate them. I also saw the tables being sanitised after each customer. Apparently Von's chicken outlets differ depending on where you are - you could get some sides in one, but not the other and vice versa.

My go-to chicken spot the past year. Taste is always consistent and flavors are delicious. My favorite are the Crispy Fried, Honey Butter, and Yang Nyum. They have an awesome lunch option as well, well priced.

First time at this place that my friend recommended. They got many options to choose from with different flavored chicken. I ordered the Garlic chicken half portion. I should have brought gloves before I ate, just joking. It can be messy to eat but it was amazing. Definitely worth the price.

I have been here several times but never did a review. I called and ordered ( do this save you on waiting time) half order of crispy chicken honey butter and half mild crispy soy chicken wings. They're so delicious, juicy and tasty . I personally prefer vons over bonchon. On top of that their chicken wings are bigger. My kids love the crispy soy chicken. Also my order came with coleslaw and pickled radish. Highly recommended

My bf was craving chicken wings Saturday evening. We elected to go to Von's. I have never tried Von's before so I went excited. When we arrived for dinner, we noticed there wasn't anyone inside. We went in anyway since we were already here and ordered the Kimchi fried rice, red burn - spicy, and the honey butter fried chicken. While waiting for our food. A loooot of people came in. Good thing we came before the rush! The shop looks to be family owned. Both people working the front were very personable, friendly, and extremely attentive. They got another water bottle quickly when we ran out without having to ask. The honey butter fried chicken came out first piping hot just like everything else. The crispy outside is extremely crunchy and delicious. I did feel like the sweetness was a overwhelming for me after a few pieces but still pretty good. The kimchi fried rice came out next. It tastes like decent fried rice with a slight flavor of kimchi. Pretty good for the price but nothing too special here. The red burn was last and came out really hot. This one was my favorite for the night. It was still sweet but also had the delicious flavors of other spices. Overall a 5/5 for me. The price is good for the amount of food and they came out very fresh. I'd say that the dishes get a little too sweet as I eat but I'm not sure if that's a personable preference. I would definitely like to try out their soy sauce and black vinegar chicken or ssam chicken in the future.

Came here with the gf for dinner before the movies and was it so worth it! We're always trying to scratch our fried chicken itch and this spot definitely did it. The location is in a plaza that shares the parking spaces with a lot of other restaurants and a grocery market. So finding parking isn't too hard. Upon walking in, it was a bit empty with a lot of orders going out for take-out. Since sitting down to eat and finishing our meal, the place filled up quickly. We ordered the crispy honey butter chicken, red burn chicken and kimchi fried rice. The water is bottled here as well. The crispy honey chicken came out super crispy and really sweet. My gf didn't like the sweetness as much as I did but the crispy part was so good. The red burn was an oven baked chicken that was really spicy and delicious. Lastly, the kimchi fried rice was brought out in the shape of a bowl that was tightly packed. Everything overall was really good! The service was also amazing. You order your food up front but they bring out the food for you to your tables. The person servicing us ensured that we had everything to water, the small side dishes and any utensils for a clean eating experience. They were very friendly with us also making sure that next time we order based on popular dishes or something that might be geared towards what we like in our chicken. Overall 5/5 experience. I look forward to being a regular here at von's chicken.

Very tasty crispy soy garlic glaze chicken wings. The pickled radish is so crunchy and refreshing. My birthday boy left chicken wings at the very last to eat in his bowl coz he saved the best at the last . He enjoyed the wings so much that he was rocking his legs while eating it.
