Was fiending for some hand pulled chewy fat noods. Went here because QQ closed. I ordered spicy beef soup, dish with 3 appetizers, and a lamb burger. The noodles were so chewy and delicious. When you order the dish with 3 appetizers, you need to go up to the window and pick out what you want. There was I think 6 or 8 items to choose from. And the waitress/owner (?) loads the plate up. No frills, but everything was tasty. I would be definitely be back to try more items!
Xi’an Kitchen is hands down my favorite spot for hand-pulled noodles in the Bay Area! The flavors are rich, bold, and incredibly satisfying, making every dish feel like a true comfort meal. We had an amazing meal at this Xi’an restaurant! The Roujiamo was incredibly flavorful—the braised meat was perfectly seasoned, not too salty or greasy, but rich and aromatic. The Youpo Noodles were generously portioned, with delicious toppings like potatoes, tofu, and green beans, and the chili oil had an authentic kick.
