I got food togo and bought 5 porridge and 2 wonton soup, i asked for some chilli and all they gave was 1 and proceedes to leave, she looked at me and proceeded to go back to doing what she does, i asked for more and she gave me a dirty look.i told her i bought a lot can i get more and only gave 2 more small chilli. Like really

I like the food and for my son who is a picky eater, he loves it. The portion is just enough and for those looking for food that are less greasy, this is a place for a nice meal.

Nothing hits the spot like a good bowl of congee. This Yin Ji store taste a little different than the ones in Canada and the menu is much smaller. It is still good and hearty but I wish they had the fried donut available which is the perfect compliment to congee

I was skeptical coming here to get dim sum, but decided to give this place a try and I don't regret it. I loved every dish they had especially their marinaded shrimp rice noodle roll + congee. To top everything off, the lava molten bun was amazing!

Service was amazing as the staff were attentive. As for ambiance, the restaurant was clean and modern. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area!

this place is amazing for traditional chinese food and their flavors are impeccable. i’ve ordered their chang fen/rice noodle roll (picture 1) and porridge and they’re both delicious. my favorite thing from this place has got to be the pork and preserved egg congee. they add magic into that thing because it’s got me so hooked. i’m definitely coming back whenever i’m in the area :)

Very disappointing experience.
Every time I’ve ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash, my order gets cancelled — sometimes after waiting a long time. It’s happened multiple times, not just once. If the restaurant isn’t reliably fulfilling online orders, it shouldn’t be listed on the platform. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

Great food! My wife and I have visited a couple of times now. The congee is excellent and fried tofu with white pepper is 👌

Takeout is also a great option.

This place has the best catonese style dim sum. Everything made fresh here. Their rice porridge is very yummy. Their buns are freshly made. We also love there salted york custard black bun. It is definitely a must try!! Somehow it is weird that this restaurant does not provide you normal soy sauce. I wish they did because sometime you want to dip the dumpling in the soy sauce a bit. But overall everything is very delicious here.

Food is delicious and less expensive. My hubby loves d congee.

This YJCF restaurant is definitely worth a visit! The food is delicious and full of flavor, and the service is friendly and attentive. There’s usually a wait, but it’s absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming—overall, a great dining experience!
