Especially loved the dough stick rice noodle, shui mai, and ha gow. The bbq pork was a bit dry in our opinion, so we don't plan on getting that again. Ordered via QR code which was fairly seamless, and came out in a timely order. Overall, service was good and food was great. We hope to try the congee at some point so we'll definitely visit again.

Nice to find Yin Ji by accident. I will cut to the chase, it's fine, good service, long wait unless you are lucky at a pocket of less busy time. Shrimp dumplings, har gaw was average. Jok, porridge was good, cheng fun was also good but kind of odd to have so much veggie in it. Can't compare with the same Yin ji in Canton China ( even they went downhill a bit), the thing comparable are the price. $9 plate cheng fun, their counterpart in China is also around 10 RMB, so here are roughly 6 times more expensive, but it's understandable.... Sure, I will revisit when I am around the

Food was delicious and a great option to nurse a hangover. The rice rolls were really fresh and soft. The porridge with the egg yolk was silky and not overwhelming in flavor. I've been craving this ever since I had it the other week. Can't wait to go back!

If you're craving for some cheap comfort food, this is the spot. Lots of options for porridge, and rice noodles.

SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE! Walked in on a busy Friday (TODAY) and the menu was handed to us. We looked around and noticed the waitress was taking everyone's orders BUT ours. She then comes to us to take our menus and points at a QR code on our table to order from, which was covered by our water pitcher btw. We felt soooo DISCRIMINATED against as we observed to why and we noticed she proceeded to take orders of customers speaking in her language. My family was upset. My mom relayed her frustration to another waitress and she apologized but proceeded to avoid eye contact with us when we were ready to leave. It was still hard to get their attention... I wish I could properly review the food but the experience left a bad taste overall. I've never felt this type of treatment, I left feeling so unwelcome. Never coming back. I do not recommend.

Never have I ever felt discriminated against in a restaurant in my life! Came in on a Friday afternoon and waited for a table for 5 minutes max. Once seated with a menu we waited at least another 5 minutes for the server with short hair to take our order. The server was seating other people that were also waiting, and once we got her attention she pointed at a QR code on our table that was hidden from the water pitcher. And right after she pointed to it, we noticed that she started taking the other people's orders that also spoke her language. She took at least 3 other people's orders that spoke her language before we can even place our order. What made us any different to take our order through her iPad?? Why were we the only ones that had to take our order through a QR code?? She was so quick to take others orders within less than 3 minutes but she couldn't take ours? My mom spoke to the other server about it, but she barely let us speak and just apologized and blamed it on how busy it was inside the restaurant. Regardless of it being busy, it's the fact that the server with shorter hair decided to take others' orders who were seated later than us and made ONLY MY TABLE place an order on our phones. And to add on, we were not even on our phones when waiting for them to take our order and also the other people that got their orders taken first were capable of making their own orders with a phone. Overall, the food was okay but it's not worth coming back into this establishment when I'm just going to feel discriminated and feel like nobody wants to serve me because I don't speak their language.

Porridge had too much sugar or msg in it, turned out somewhat sweet. Portions are small compared to others.

I'm leaving a second review because I came twice after my initial review and I felt as if the 河粉were over steamed. this resulted in a more gummy less enjoyable dish since it was a bit overcooked

Stopped by on a weekend for a late lunch around 1 PM thinking we had come after the lunch rush, but there were many groups ahead of us still. We ordered the beef and egg yolk congee, LiWan style congee, BBQ pork and dried shrimp rice noodle, and marinated shrimp and beef rice noodle. The beef in the congee and rice noodle had been velvitized, so it was very tender! The congee was flavorful and thick for both types. I wasn't a big fan of the peanuts in the LiWan, but I did enjoy the variety of things in it; besides the peanuts, it comes with egg, shrimp, BBQ pork, and fish. The raw yolk in the beef congee added creaminess. I would say that their congee is definitely better than the ones I've had at dim sum, and for cheaper too! The rice rolls are big and wide and not too mushy. They don't skimp out on the filling but it is a little hard to grab with chopsticks since there's so much. Out of the two we ordered, I enjoyed the shrimp and beef roll a bit more since the BBQ pork was a bit dry. They also add lettuce in their rolls, but you can request to have it taken out. Service was your usual service at an Asian restaurant. This place is a super affordable place if you're having some warm, homey, comfort food, and I'll definitely be back in the future.

Today, we came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were a party of 6 and signed in on the pen/paper sign in sheet. It's a fairly small place, so parties larger than 6 would have to wait a while. Service was great, attentive, and quick. We ordered the following... Vegetarian Rice Noodle Roll. Shitake mushrooms, corn, and lettuce. Liwan Style Assorted Congee. Shrimp, beef, julienned scrambled egg, peanuts, and cilantro. -Brisket Rice Noodle Roll. The brisket had a good-sized piece of tendon and beef flap, along with tender pieces of beef. 2x Marinated Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll. The roll includes lettuce inside. Dough Stick Rice Noodle Roll: Fried crunchy Youtiao (known in Southern China as Yu Char Kway) Fried Buns: Crunchy golden brown dough served with sweetened condensed milk. Pork Knuckles and Ginger Stew. Usually people make this for pregnant mothers, but so glad they offerbthis dish! Pork and Gold Preserved Egg Congee: lean, soft, tender pork with the Century egg is delicious. First time for 1 couple, and they enjoyed the food.

Best chang fen in the Bay! We ordered 3 items between 2 people and were comfortably full. Liwan style congee (4.5/5) - super flavorful and great texture. Wasn't a huge fan of the peanuts BBQ Pork Buns (3.5/5) - buns were extremely soft but the bbq pork was a little bitter and way too red in color Beef and shrimp roll (5/5) - loved the texture of the noodle and huge portion size

Delicious comfort food! My friend and I ordered the fish porridge, shrimp chang fen, and steamed char siu bao. I also got a hot yuenyeung drink (half milk tea half coffee) and it was strong and delicious! The texture of the chang fen is really great and silky, and the porridge had a good serving of fish in it- and it tasted fresh. The char siu bao were decent, but quite filling and maybe not as amazing as the ones you can get at a dim sum cart type place. Service was nice and it was quite busy when we went for Sunday lunch. The food comes out fast and they get customers through at a decent pace! Parking isn't hard as there's a large lot shared by the plaza.

Food - 9/10: 2 people. We ordered the marinaded shrimp and beef noodle roll, beef and raw egg congee, LiWan style congee, hargaw and shumai. Everything was so good and filling. I was sick with a cold and the congee just made me feel better. Service - 10/10: server was quick and welcoming. Our food came fast. Ambiance - 9/10. The restaurant was clean and empty (came on Monday 6pm).

Their porridges are thick, hot and satisfying. Their rice rolls are also delicious along with the dim sum. Ordering through their QR code was much easier and less pressure for me plus it had plenty of pictures and good descriptions of each item. I appreciate that they always provide extra bowls and spoons for sharing. Unisex restroom available but be prepared to wait during weekends.
