Good place to grab a burger. I was a little overwhelmed with all of the options on the menu at first, but the cashier was helpful and helped to guide me. I went with the Original Burger Boss burger with mushrooms and avocado. You can definitely taste the freshness of the ingredients like the meat, the bun, avocado, and mushrooms. The burger patty was mostly all lean and seasoned well. I also liked the fries, and I tried the mint lemonade. There are several locations, so I'd be open to checking out another location. I recommend Burger Boss if you're feeling like having a fresh burger!

Let me start off with saying that the staff there were super friendly and very helpful! I could tell they were either understaffed or overwhelmed though. The food was good, definitely could tell the good quality of a grass fed burger patty on the beef and the options you could add on there are endless. I love when there is a wide array of cheese besides just cheddar and pepper Jack. The strawberry mint lemonade was so refreshing and I'm not a lemonade person! The turkey burger could be seasoned more, I'm not a red meat person so I love when a place offers turkey burger as a substitute but i don't know, it felt like it was lacking something. All in all a good place if you like burgers and are close by!

Unique concept, but disappointing service.I came a couple minutes after opening and the doors were still locked. I was in a big rush so this made me kind of annoyed. After waiting in my car and trying again later, the doors were finally opened.Even though I was the second customer to come in, they were already running way behind because they just received a bunch of mobile orders that they wanted to do first. I didn't mind considering that they seemed short-staffed and I appreciated the heads-up. I do feel, however, that they should prioritize dining customers rather than mobile orders because there ended up being orders just sitting on the counter since no one came to pick them up while actual diners were waiting endlessly for their food.I waited for about 20 minutes for my meal and it was pretty underwhelming. The fries were cold and the burger was pretty bland. They have a pretty interesting way of serving their burgers -- one half with the cooked ingredients, the other with the veggies, then the customer puts it together to form a burger. Because of this, I don't understand why it took so long considering they don't even put the burger together for us.TLDR:* Prioritized mobile orders over dining customers* Didn't open on time* Food was underwhelmingPretty disappointing, but I’m willing to stop by in the future and give them another chance.

Five stars for food, three stars for service. I had been to Burger Boss years ago in Tustin, but hadn't visited this location before. My boyfriend and I visited on Sunday night. Service was slow even though we were the only customers waiting on an order. The staff member that took our order was nice, but seemed on the newer side - he didn't really have a lot of recommendations or descriptions, and he seemed to be having trouble inputting our orders. Nonetheless, I was impressed with their vast selection of food and hand crafted beverages. I made my own burger with a gluten free bun and ordered sweet potato fries, while my boyfriend got a double-meat BBQ burger with regular fries. We took our food to go, and even after a 30 minute drive our burgers and fries still tasted fresh and delicious! They definitely go heavy on the sauce so keep that in mind as you build your burger. I loved the crinkle cut sweet potato fries in particular. With all that said, this location is a bit far from me so I don't know if I'd come back regularly, but I would absolutely try out the Tustin location again. I'm curious to try their other protein, topping and sauce options and their lemonades and lettuce wrap bun! And of course, the sweet potato fries...yum!

I was impressed with this Yelp Elite event. I've always wanted to try this place and was fortunate to have had the opportunity through Yelp. It was super easy to order, staff were friendly and I enjoyed a delicious burger and an order of fried green beans. A very pleasant experience!

The first thing I noticed when I came in were the comfortable seats, several screens (two for ordering) and the other two on the opposite wall but with nothing on.. the place didn't smell of fried food like other burger restaurants, the space was clean and there were many options for customizing your own burger. I love that they have vegan options which is the black bean burger and the vegan smoked Gouda cheese. They also serve Turkey burgers which is a plus for me because I can't eat red meat.. it's awesome that they provide choices for everyone. I have to say that their French fries were my favorite. Not oily at all, perfectly crisp, and seasoned just right and not too salty. The onion rings on the other hand were a bit too oily for my liking.. I enjoyed the Turkey burger and opted for mushrooms and avocado as my add-ons. Overall the burger was delicious. I would have preferred a thicker bun but the one they served wasn't bad at all. The hand crafted drinks were also a star. I absolutely loved the hibiscus lemonade/tea. It was so refreshing and the quality was comparable to other fancy tea shops but without the add-ins. I gave one less star because customer service could have been better and friendlier. We sat in probably the most awkward location because it was the only family booth so it would have been nice if the two screens had something playing on them as it was awkward to be facing everyone who sat near us. I promise we weren't staring at them; we just had awkward seating and no place else to look but straight. Lol

I came here on a Friday afternoon and was really pleased by the friendly service, great portions/presentation, and clean environment (gender-neutral restrooms available). Burger Boss offers a wide range of options from signature burgers, build-your-own burgers, fries, sides, sauces, and drinks! They also pride themselves on using natural ingredients. I really liked the fresh taste and look of the ingredients in my burger and it was very filling. The brioche bun was also nice and soft. I am also a fan of their onion rings because of the light, crispy batter. Their mango lemonade is a wonderful balance to the meal I had today as well.

We stopped by on a Wednesday night & were served quickly by Anakin. Our two build-your-own-burgers were served faster than expected. (NOTE - This is not a fast food place. Expect to wait at least 10-15 minutes while they prepare your masterpiece) Our sweet potato & regular fries were hot & fresh. We were impressed with the thinly-cut avocado on our burgers. Lots of drink options to choose from, including artisan sodas, lemonade & ice tea. We left full & satisfied.

The service was friendly and quick to get my food ordered, while the ambiance was relaxed as a quick in and out lunch location. Super clean, which is always a fantastic experience. Now to the food, I ordered two build your own burgers and boss fries. I felt that the food was decently made, but it tasted average to me. I'd stop by for a quick bite if I wanted a burger but I don't feel I'll be making Burger Boss my go to burger spot.

There are so many options to boss your burger, but I often keep it simple. In this photo, I ordered: White Bun, Beef Patty, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Fresh Onions, and the Boss Sauce. I often also order (and recommend) the grilled jalapeños with the chipotle mayo sauce! For my side, I chose the cheese fries, which have been a long-time favorite. And I topped everything off with a refreshing Pepsi that was made even better by the most elite crunchy ice (because that does matter). I've been to Burger Boss many times and I plan to be back many more. The food is delicious and this time wasn't an exception.

Delicious, fresh made, custom burger and sides. Loved my fried green beans and Boss My Burger with turkey bacon, grilled onions and jalapeños.

Wow where to start. I have heard good things about Burger Boss in the past, but on my visit I was not sure what else could have went wrong. When I first entered the restaurant, it smelled terribly like bathroom order. It was fairly empty inside, but the staff had me wait 25 minutes before they could take my order. When I finally ordered, it was another 20 minutes for my order to be done. And it doesn't stop there... I ordered two burgers and an onion ring. They forgot one of the burgers and the other burger was missing toppings. Both burgers came out pink and when I bite into it, and the meat was cold. After microwaving the burgers, they bled into the rest of the burger, and I couldn't stomach eating the rest. Will give this place a hard pass until they shape up.

The three is for the food, as the service was 5 star. If the name on the receipt is correct, then Terrie helped us order, as we had not been before. She was very nice, led us through options and was patient. Then, she brought our meals to us at our table AND cleared our table when we were done. Very good, thanks Terrie! The wife and I were in the area and I decided to try out Burger Boss as I was jonesing for a good burger and fries. As we were nicely guided through the choices, I wanted to try their signature burger as is, so I asked for whatever was standard and that ended up being the Original Boss with a beef patty, American cheese, fresh (or grilled) onions, pickles (xtra for me), tomato and lettuce. While there were a variety (big variety) of sauces to choose from, I wanted the OG, the "Boss Sauce". In addition to the sauces, there is a variety of proteins, buns and add-ons. Some add-ons are free and others, like bacon, avocado, etc.. were an extra fee. I wanted the original so that is what I got. I also ordered a side of fries which came with two dipping sauces, so I asked for the ketchup and the Cajun Buffalo. They only have one size of drink, and for $1, you could not pass it up! The wife ordered the Turkey Boss and she asked for lettuce, grilled onions, pickles and American Cheese. We decided to try the cheese fries, since I had ordered the regular fries. She also took advantage of the $1 soda. (I'm still amazed by that!) After payment, we went and found a seat. I had not asked if they announce the orders, or should I just wait at the counter. Anyhoo, we got some drinks and went to sit down and wait for what would happen next. After a bit of time, Terrie came around with our meals. First impression was the burger seemed a bit small, but everything looked very nice as you can see in the pictures. The wife and I like to dig into our fries while they are still hot. The regular fries were very good, fresh cut and nice and hot. The ketchup was nothing special, but the Cajun Buffalo was tasty and not very spicy. The wife checked out the cheese fries and said, "Nope." Instead of grated, melted cheese, the fries were covered in a nacho-like cheese sauce. Upon tasting said nacho cheese sauce, we were disappointed as the sauce was not very good and reminded me of a bad order of nachos at a dumpy movie theater. Oh, well, we split the good fries and I actually ate some of the "cheese" fries. On to the main event. The presentation for both the burger and the turkey burger was excellent. They looked so good. I put my burger together by throwing the top bun and fixins on top and was surprised that it seemed bigger than it looked. The burger was almost perfect, perhaps a bit over done, but the bun was soft and fresh, the veggies crispy and the Boss Sauce was awesome. Not the best burger I have had, but I was happy with it. The main event for the wife was not as eventful. The turkey burger itself was very dry and when the wife showed me the burger after she took a couple of bites, it looked light gray inside. Even with the garlic mayo and grilled onions, it was not getting any moister (is that a word?). It looked good, it smelled good, but it did not past muster. The wife said she would not order that again. This place has plenty of options for making a burger your own, so I give that to them. The original burger and the fries were fine, not anything to rave about. I have seen many very good reviews, so I trust that others have had better experiences than I have. Go. Eat pretty good, but avoid the turkey burger. HAVE FUN!

Top notch burger place! Love that they use grass fed beef and fresh ingredients! I've been here twice, and I generally go for the Boss Burger. On both occasions, the burger and French fries were cooked perfectly, with the beef patty juicy and tender. I would have loved to try their iced beverages, but I thought they were too expensive for me. As for the ambiance, the place is kept clean and since it's never really crowded, there are plenty of tables available. The staff is also very helpful, but they self service computers to place your order are also available. This restaurant is definitely one of my go-to places for burgers for sure!

First time trying burger, boss. We arrived just after 6pm and there was no lie. Opted to go to the front counter instead of using the kiosks to order. The female server with dark hair was extremely helpful. Being our first time she kind of, walked us through our options and made some suggestions on her favorite items. we ordered the burger, fries, and a drink as well as a kids chicken bites meal. We loved all of the options that you can put on your burger, as well as all of the variety of dipping sauces. This is definitely a cook type restaurant. It took several minutes for our order to be prepared, which is fine as each order is custom-made. The order taker/cashier brought out our food. The burger looked amazing and had plenty of fresh toppings on it that we had requested. The burger patty itself was slightly overcooked, but we still enjoyed the burger overall. The chicken bites were a good portion just for us to try, but also seems like an ample children's meal. Inside the plenty of seats either low tables and booths or a high top family style table in the middle of the restaurant. It had good energy with fun popular music playing. There is plenty of parking out front. For the two meals we spent $29. We would definitely come back and recommend others.
