Chocobean is my favorite way to start the day! The coffee is always fantastic — the toasted almond is my go-to. On a hot day, their iced coffee hits the spot, and the iced tea is just as refreshing. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. We’re lucky to have such a great spot in the neighborhood!

Can't go wrong here
We just discovered this little cafe. It’s in the Mission Viejo Marketplace on the corner of Marguerite and Oso. They have the best coffee and the food is delicious. My husband says this is where he is going to get his breakfast burritos in the future. They are called Wraps on the menu. The owner and staff are friendly and attentive. You know it is great when so many Regulars are there. Go try it out!
New owner added many delicious pastries and meals the coffee is roasted weekly and very delicious

I love checking out new coffee shops. This was my first visit (I don't drive to Mission Viejo often) and I'm hooked! The first thing that impressed me was their home roasted coffee. The roasting machine is on display, and it is a fully functional roaster that they use to prepare their freshly roasted custom coffee blends. I had the daily special, toasted almond, and it was excellent!
There's a nice, relaxing, shaded, and relatively secluded outdoor patio seating which is a great way to enjoy the beautiful SoCal weather!
And then there was the sandwiches ... I got two: one for me and one for my wife, thinking that I'll eat half of hers as usual. The sandwiches are tasty, appetizing, fresh ingredients, and large!!! I barely finished mine. Nothing short of a great deli sandwich!
I wish I took a picture of the sandwiches before I devoured them, but you can see a quarter left of each sandwich. Also attached is a picture of my wife's Cappuccino.
I got to speak to the owner. Apparently he purchased the business a few weeks ago, but the shop has been around for almost thirty years. He was very courteous and you can tell he's passionate about his business, coffee making, and customer service. He explained to me the rosting process and the different types of beans they roast.
Now I have a place to stop and take a break next time I'm driving through Mission.

Drinks were fine, but nothing to write home about. Our order was taken, my wife's food came out and we mentioned we were still waiting for more when she took our table number. 20 mi. Later I go in to ask about it, and the workers said they had given it away to someone else?! Comped me a new order, and they got it wrong. Didn't bother finishing the wrap.

We went for the chocolate tour. It was brilliant. So informative and we also saw sloths and monkeys and tucans. Thr chocolate was delicious and we couldn't eat all we were offered. It was so good

I love this place! Truly one of my favorites and the most delicious breakfast bagel sandwich ever. Their service is also amazing. So good!
Mocha was ok, nothing special and bland. The California breakfast sandwich was really good. Bread could have been grilled more (too soft) but really delicious.
Friendly and polite staff.
Such an amazing local coffee shop! They have incredible drinks and food.
I love this place and the family that runs this small hidden gem! 💎
