We had supposedly slow roasted tri-tip. It was so tough. My husband sent his back, I suffered through mine. If it was slow roasted it would have been tender. You might consider sous vide for your meats. It makes everything tender.

We had a family event here. The service was excellent for a party of 40. We ordered off the silver menu, bbq chicken salad and burger with fries. Both were good. The only issue was drink refill. Hard to refill drinks for 40 folks, so completely understandable. Perhaps some pitchers for self serve would have been better?

Claim Jumper has gone down hill. The food was mediocre at best and the choices were very limited. The meat was not as good as it used to be..... Our waitress was nice but didn't pay much attention to us. She took a long time to bring us everything. And, they don't serve bread anymore. Plus, salad is not an option included with the meal. Very disappointed....

If you want to have the best experience at this Claim Jumper ask to be seated in Deion’s section. His service was amazing! He took care of every single request and never felt forgotten or that our waiter was MIA. Will definitely be coming back. Only complaint is the steak house selections requiere to purchase sides a la carte. Oh and save room for dessert!!!!

This is one of those rare moments when you find a restaurant and you know you'll be a regular. The service was impeccable and friendly. The grilled salmon oscar exceeded my expectations. My friend said her fish tacos were the best she ever had. The most amazing thing is the chocolate cake; the only problem is it's too good; one pieces can serve six people. This is a high. quality restaurant with affordable prices. You wouldn't be disappointed.

I was turned off that they allowed a dog in the booth behind us which was outside its carrier, sitting up to the table. I love pets but they don't belong in a restaurant, definitely not hygienic. We ordered Zucchini appetizer, hamburger, fries, which were all great. I also ordered the salmon which was dry. Carrot cake for dessert was delicious . Overall I don't think we'll be back, the whole dog in the restaurant in the booth grossed me out

It has been a while since I went to Claim Jumper. This time was to take clients out for good steak dinner. The whole atmosphere was no better than a 3 star restaurant. Steak was good, but other entrees were over cooked. Ribs were black and fish was over cooked. Chicken wings were basted in vinegar which was over done. Cheese pie dessert was good, but the chocolate cake was over proportioned and the waitress did not inform us.

Go get the fish sandwich! (7/1/22 not on menu, but they still had it.). Hard to beat!

I have long been a Claim Jumper fan but this visit has made me never want to again. They have completely changed the menu. The food was terrible! It tasted old and my husband's clam chowder had no clam in it. Also, they had a very limited wine selection with some only available by the bottle. We won't be going back anytime soon.

The oscar salmon, the baby back ribs, and sides were excellent. They have a new salad bar for $14 and it was excellent as well. Service was great. For the two of us it came out to $77.69 They have a 3% surcharge they add to the bill. Overall nice experience and great menu..Response to the owners response on my review.Thank you for providing the info on the surcharge. Everyone I talk to believe the same thing probably because we're unaware of the reasoning behind it. I've edited my review in light of the new info I've received.

Great classic gold mining environment with hearty meals filled with comfort food and a meaty vibe. Excellent salad bar with very generous portions. Service is usually attentive and the management is usually on top of things. Great for a large group or a big celebration. The checkers/chess board in the lobby is a fun plus!

We decided to celebrate Fathers Day ahead of the crowds at our favorite restaurant. Our server was very pleasant and overall service was great. The food was fantastic as usual. I ordered the chopped cob with chicken one of the largest cob salads I have ever had. We had everything from grilled salmon to fried chicken and their fantastic potato cheese soup. Everything was delicious!

We arrived early for our dinner and we're politely accommodated. The overall experience was very good, but was lacking anything special. We used to live in the area and had a expectation for excellence. While good, it missed the exceptional mark.

We enjoyed sharing a combo meal of shrimp, ribs and tri tip with a couple sides. Service was great and food was tasty. Taking a star away as the Claim Jumper vibe just wasn't there. I think the big empty salad bar and tables has something to do with that, it used to be one of the best.

Much too expensive brunch for what was offered. Easter was so much better when you could order your own entree off the menu. Food was acceptable but not outstanding. Needed to replenish selections and tidy areas where the brunch display was located. Mimosas were $15 all you could drink. At Easter they were $4 a glass.
