The prices on the menu didn't reflect what I was charged when I added a side to my wrap. I told the cashier and he just didn't care. Tried to tell me it was tax when my receipt had a tax section on it already. The side was charged only as 3 dollars instead of 2 so not a big deal but that's still 50% more expensive than advertised but what upset me is the cashier wouldn't do anything about it. Food was good but won't be back on principle.
Also they have a tip added to their payment by default so be careful. It's set to 15% by default instead of letting you choose

This place is an absolute gem! Their chicken game is on point. We tried both the chicken bowl and the chicken salad and they were excellent.

Halal spot ; Dizzy Bird is located in a mall, specialize in rotisserie chicken and also offer wraps, which looked pretty good. I went for their whole rotisserie chicken meal with 2 sides — it was around $35. A bit pricier than nearby spots, but considering it’s halal (and halal options are usually limited), it makes sense.
The chicken itself was super juicy, tender, and full of flavor — definitely the highlight of the meal. As for the sides, I tried the fries and rice. They were just okay — not bad, but nothing memorable either.
Overall, solid choice if you’re craving halal rotisserie chicken. I’d come back for the chicken alone!

Dizzy Bird is one of my favorite spots to grab food at the mall. It’s inside The Shops at Mission Viejo, right in the food court, and the rotisserie chicken is always hot, fresh, and super tasty. The rice and potatoes are great too — just a really solid, good-quality meal.
The service has always been great. The people working there are friendly, and even if there’s a bit of a line, it moves fast. Honestly, a line just means it’s that good — and it is.
There’s plenty of seating since it’s in the food court, and the whole area’s nice and clean. My wife and son both love it, and it’s kind of become part of our mall trip. We’ll walk around a bit, do some shopping, and then hit Dizzy Bird for a meal. It’s just really good food at a fair price, and I’ve never had a bad experience.
Highly recommend!

We decided to stop at this Dizzy Bird location after going to the Irvine location numerous times before. We didn't know it was in a food court, but I have to say that the food was quicker and tastier than the Irvine location. The service was also better. I don't know how they're doing it at this location, but everything seems much more streamlined than in Irvine; they should really keep it up.
The bestest experience ever
I got chicken thigh all the cart with a side of avocado. The avocado was fresh and nicely sliced and the chicken thigh was good enough to order two more to take home!
The atmosphere is in the mall food court, so it’s loud and impersonal but there was adequate seating
Dizzy Bird is a fast-food style joint for poultry-lovers with a Mediterranean flair. Specializing in rotisserie chicken, they've got wraps and plates with customizable sides. The line can get long, and there's not too much seating, but things move quickly! Pro tip that they have at least one self-service screen you can order from (many folks kept missing it).
And the verdict on the chicken? Finger lickin' good!
The chicken is tender and juicy, whether on the plate or in the wrap. But for me, the wraps are the highlight here. For under $15, you get a ton of meat, and a hearty filling of pickled, creamy, and smokey flavors. The Hot Bird wrap had all the bold notes you'd expect and the wrap itself was both delicate and crispy - such a satisfying meal by itself.
As for the plate, the chicken is cooked nicely and the lemony garlic flavors are delicious. The sides are good but not mind blowing. Lemon garlic potatoes (pretty good flavor and cook) and a pasta salad (a bit on the bland side).
Sides aside, Dizzy Bird dishes out great poultry for those wanting a garlicky protein fix in a fast casual setting. And the wraps are such a great grab and go item to enjoy on the way to shopping. A nice addition to the Spectrum.
My new favorite in Irvine Spectrum. Their chicken taste AMAZING. Their wraps are all delicious and good portion. Great variety of sides and sauces, their salad are huge and yummy. Fantastic place for a quick, healthy meal. Everyone who works there operates with great attitude too, which is always a plus. A MUST try place.
