Meh. Ordered takeout online. Online order showed it would be ready in 20 mins, I arrived in 15, order was already packed and ready I drove the 3 minutes home. When I open the container the carnitas was cold, not even room temp. Additionally when ordering on line they “require” you choose a salsa type and bean type. I chose the black tomatillo salsa and refried beans, I received green salsa and black beans. Why offer the choice if you’re not going to give it to the customer. Not worth over $20.

I find most Mexican food is either super spicy or just bland. This place hits both. The salsa is really spicy but if you don't use it the food is just bland. They should focus more on flavor instead of burning your taste buds.

This is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in south Orange County. I had the bean dip and hard shell taco. Both tasted great. Service was awesome. They have a full bar. No beer on tap, but great selection in bottles. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Great experience. Came during an afternoon for lunch. I believe the manager was the only one working but he was very friendly and the service was awesome. The restaurant itself is pretty small but they do have outdoor seating. Ordered one potato taco combo with pinto beans and rice and a two item combo. I love that they serve guacamole and sour cream with each plate. Great beans and rice! The enchiladas and flautas were delicious and the potato taco was crispy and fried perfectly, no grease! Great spot for some authentic Mexican food

This place is a GEM. In business since 2008, lunch was exceptional, everything is made from scratch. Chips, salsa, fresca, it was all A1 quality and taste. Very reasonably priced too. My Spouse and I will be back to enjoy the ambiance and music. Margaritas were top notch also. Senor Gustavo is very proud of what he has created and the traditions he offers in the good palette

My wife and I with our baby and dog had lunch here sitting outside. The food was great and portions are generous! We both got burritos. Carnitas and a Colorado which I highly recommend! The waitress was great and after our dog had choking episode she was so kind and eager to help! Would definitely recommend!

The food is pretty good. Nice size servings. Salsa has some kick to it, which I like. What dials back a star for me is the service. If you sit on their patio, which I've done a couple times, you can absolutely count of being forgotten or ignored. Sad, because I do like the location and the food, but I can't tolerate less than attentive service. No excuse for that when I'm one of 2-3 tables taken in the whole place. If you do come here, the Don Gustavo's Margarita ain't bad.

First time diner here today. The staff was nice enough but they lost my future business. I ordered a soup, but wanted a side dish too. I looked at the side items and tacos were 7.95. I asked if they had bean tostadas and the waitresses said she'd ask. She brought my order with tasted okay. Then they gave me a bill for $15 for that bean tostada. That was the same price as the Tostada Grande full entre. When I asked, the waitress said that was the only option they had to ring it up. SERIOUSLY ? !! THAT'S BAD BUSINESS.

Stopped here on the way to bb tournament. Hoping to have a better experience than those before me. NOT!! Just Sad! Ordered shrimp quesadilla and shrimp taquito.. They were both disgusting!! The quesadilla was dripping in grease and cheese.. just terrible! The shrimp in the taquito was extremely bland and tasteless!! The 3 stars was for the chips n salsa! That's the only thing I can suggest. pretty upsetting $30 later and we have wasted food n tummy aches!
