As a hispanic, this is one of the best Mexican food options in our area for a reasonable price. The meat is good quality and the staff is always friendly.

I loved the Chile Rellenos Burritos at this location, but lately, someone has been asleep at the kitchen and forgeting to scrape all the seeds from the chiles. Please do better!

I go to this place once a week for my kids and I ! We love the food and the service! Specially the Mexican lady with big lashes is so sweet, friendly knows me by name! She makes me feel welcomed, special! Rest of the crew also nice! My favorite Mexican restaurant! Keep up the great service and the food!

I came here 2 nights ago thinking this was a nice Mexican restaurant and ordered a carne asada burrito. Once I got my burrito I picked it up and felt fatty oil soak my hands so I went up to the front and asked if they could remake a new burrito for me. The remade the burrito the second time the same way with fatty oil spilling all over. So I just decided to get up throw away the food and leave. Don't come here unless you want your burrito filled with fatty oil leaking all over the place!!!

Jalapenos does a good job of presenting consistent Mexican food with quality ingredients. This night, the restaurant seating area feels poorly maintained and dirty. We had to wipe down our tables and benches before sitting down. The area around the soft drinks and salsa bar was also very dirty.

I was looking forward to having an excellent Chile Relleno last night for me and my husband for dinner. They were HORRIBLE! I ordered 2 of them and this restuarant needs to teach their Chefs how to make them look and taste authentic or don't offer them at all on the menu! These were very small, not battered well, no cheese inside. They were only $5.00 each...money is not the issue....its the quality that a restaurant puts out! I would spend $10.00 for a delicious relleno if they were worth it. I'm so sick of restuarants charging higher and delivering horrible food quality. Step it up Jalapenos...please don't rip off your clientele.

Charging $2 for a small bag of chips is ridiculous. They used to be free. The menu prices on all their food have gone up significantly! And of course quality of the food has gone down.

We had a good experience using their delivery service through Yelp. Got all our food on time and well made. The Asada California Burritos was average at best. My husband recently ordered their Al Pastor Burrito and it was not good, meat was flavorless and dry. Definitely wouldn't order it again. I ordered the Bean Tostada add rice and it was very good. Not a huge portion, but I enjoyed it. And I usually order the Bean and Rice Burrito and enjoy it, it's also a large burrito.

Jalapeños has become a STAPLE every time I visit the area. Sincerely some of the best Mexican food in Southern California.

Yummy every time. I love the crispy shredded beef tacos and the nachos. The chips are crispy and greasy (which is how I like them).

One of the O.G.'s of Ladera... been here since year one... great taste, lil high(er) priced for Mexican comfort food... but it's it's fast too! Zero complaints, but you should have never started to charge for the corn/ chips that really cost you nothing to make... the RASHER boyz love this place too. Highly recommended...
