First time here and I have to say the place is so cool. Service is family oriented and personable. Ambiance is so authentic and simple, gives the perfect vibe. Now when it comes to food, there's nothing like it. So authentic and flavorful. Unlike other sushi spots, sushi isn't doused in sauce. The flavors here taste so natural and perfect.

I lived in Mission Viejo almost all my life and never thought of this place existed. Sad part is, I drove by so many times because my son's school is very close by. Anyway, today I decided to stop by and had lunch before going to pick up my son from school. It was delicious, surprisingly. I had ramen combo came with salad, and side. Also, I ordered salmon sushi as well which are fresh and yummy.Will definitely be back again soon.Very friendly server too.

Going to try it again because I came at an off time. The sushi was not bad the race was really good it just wasn't great. The flavors were interesting. I got halibut and I really enjoyed that! There was a spice and a citrus that made it really tasty. I also got the spider crab And it was OK. Some of the seasonings made it have a little bit of a flare.I think the biggest thing for me was I really love Ginger and the Ginger was just super dry so I don't know if they're preparing it in advance and storing it but I would definitely like to have had moist or fresh ginger for the sushi. I would come back during a morebusy hour since they were prepping at this time for dinner. It was one of those random stops for sushi. So I would come back and check it out again.The gentleman that was making the sushi and also handled most of my request was very fast! Super nice! So I definitely enjoy the customer service here which is huge for me! Thank you again for accommodating me!

There truly is nowhere better in Orange County than Koko Sushi! Some of our best friends introduced us to this place about 2 1/2 years ago when we had our first son and we have been royal customers ever since! The entire staff is so incredibly friendly and kind and we just really adore the quality of their food and service.They've been so kind as we just welcome our second child a week and a half ago and a family member out of state called in to purchase a gift card and every time we call to order our food they are so friendly and easy to work with, especially B!Thanks for being our favorite place !
